AvoDerm Natural Grain Free Chicken & Duck Recipe in Gravy Pouch Wet Cat Food 3 oz

My cat liked the tuna version better.Maybe if it was just chicken and no duck.Good amount but hard to get out of the package.

Kitty loves it, I’ve noticed improvements in his coat and he gets so excited for it.

I had never tried this brand of cat food before but I bought it because it was very cheap and because grain free is supposed to be a healthier choice. My girl cat would not even sample this stuff which surprised me as she will usually at least give new foods a lick before deciding for or against them. My boy cat Nemo ran away from the food, but he pretty much thinks I am always trying to poison him so you can't really trust his opinion.So I gave this 1 star because the price was really cheap and a 2nd star because I'm sure there are many cats out there that like this food, just not mine. However, I must say that when I smelled the cat food it really didn't smell like something tasty; it didn't even smell like food. Cats are pretty heavily influenced by how everything in their world smells, so I'm kind of surprised at the lack of smell of this food. I can't really give this more than 2 stars though because my cats refused to eat it and I will have to donate it to a shelter, but at least those cats/kittens will be getting something that is probably better for them than what my 2 furballs like.

I feed my cat the avoderm dry food. She likes their dry food. She hates this wet food. She usually prefers wet food so I can't figure out why she hates this one so bad.Update: my cat's allergies started coming back and I could not figure out why. I set with my cat crying and confused and trying to figure out what to do. Out of desperation, I decided to read the can of food and found out the seller is Miss labeling this food!!!! My cat is allergic to all forms of fish. The posting lists no salmon and on the actual can it lists salmon. My cat could have died if I didn't figure this out! I also noticed that my can of food looks different and has a different label than the picture on the website.I contacted Amazon and they gave me a free refund and did not make me send back the food. I ended up donating the food to a homeless shelter.

This is a very good quality cat food. I do think that the "Chicken and Duck' variety is a bit on the dry side though. My cats like this better when I mix it with another can of a different type that has more gravy in it. I like that you can see the duck and chicken separately inside. It seems to always be like an 80% chicken to 20% duck ratio from my experience,

I like the convenience of the pouch. My one kitty gets 1/2 the pouch in the morning and 1/2 in the afternoon. She loves it and if I could pick just one type, this would be it.
