A tutorial on mechatronics lacking advanced technology in mechatronics.
This is a basic and easy to read book on mechatronics which is a tutorial on the topic. Lot of semiconductors and microcontrollers and processors used in actual and recent mechatronic systems are much advanced than shown in the book. The author must have used theory on electronics and microprocessors from 1980's or earlier. The book is kinda dated and is not dealing current engineering technology. You may need another mechatronics book or industry specific knowledge from a company to learn about mechatronics engineering.

Useless book, contains theories only; not helpful at all.
1. The concepts of mechatronics are not cleared in this book. Only an overview of the topics is given. So, you won't develop any mechatronics knowledge after reading up this book.2. The concepts which are little detailed, cannot be understood without help from faculties. The problem is with the content, sequence and the language used to explain the concepts.3. Diagrams are useless and don't help to go understand any machine or device. You won't even get marks in the exam by drawing the diagrams that are given in this book.4. It is totally useless book, you won't come out to know anything new besides "Mechatronics is the synergy of mechanical, electrical, electronics and information technology systems".5. But one thing is that it matched exactly with my AKTU syllabus for B. Tech. 3rd year. So, I just wrote the same theories as given in it and got good marks in exam.
