used it on my tiller engine 20 minutes and i was back to gardening great lil product the rebuild kits around here cost more than this carb

order for carb took 3 days and made it to me for my sons spring brake , on time . took off original Tecumseh carb and installed,new one. a few pulls on the starter it started rite up. all I had to do was set idle speed up just a little. Its had two tanks of gas ran through it and still runs great . My son is happy and my arm feels great too , because It start so easy now. It runs better thenthe factory carb and starts easy . I was very pleased and the price was very good.I would use these as an update on Tecumsehengines or any other that it fits. Oh and I am a mechanic over 30 years but any one could install this easy Thanks from a single diviorced dad spring break visitation was great for me and my son!

Works just like it should. I had a leaf blower I just bought that wouldn't stay running. I got a great deal because of that and inside about 10 minutes I had the new carburetor on and the blower fires up on the first pull with just a few pumps of the primer bulb. I've rebuilt carbs before, but this is way easier and about the same cost.I had zero problems with two carburetors I've bought, but it is an inexpensive Chinese part, so it's possible the quality control isn't there. Amazon is great to work with and although I didn't need it here I have returned things that were broken or not what they were advertised to be and have been pleased with their service, so I would buy in confidence if you need a new carburetor for your yard equipment.

I was unable to start my tiller's Tecumseh engine for a year, and when I finally decided to check into things, I found at least a three week wait at the local small engine shops, and minimum costs in excess of $50 just to look at it. I bought this carburetor for $26.10 and had it two days later. Bit of a bummer getting the old carb off because the two back bolts were behind the muffler so I had to take off additional hardware, but it took me an hour to take off the old carb and put on the new. The tiller started on the first pull. Wish I had known how easy this was last fall, when I wanted to turn over the garden at the end of the year; I would have replaced the carb last year. No carb adjustments were necessary; I ran the tiller for an hour yesterday with no problems.

I bought an inexpensive used Yard Machines 5.5 HP Chipper Shredder model OHH55 on Craigslist last year. The seller said he had just rebuilt the carburetor, replaced the plug, and did some other maintenance, but it still wouldn't start without significant effort. I took it in to a local maintenance shop and they rebuilt the carburetor for $60, but it was still difficult to start, requiring several two-handed pulls with my foot on the base to get it going. I only use stabilized fuel, but after the winter it wouldn't start no matter how many times I pulled. Since this carburetor was so cheap I figured it was worth a shot to just replace it. The job took about 15 minutes, and the chipper started on the first pull.

5.5 Tecumseh, works perfectly, one start pulls, the threaded holes for the air cleaner housing were sloppy or metric I wound up using smaller bolts that chased in tightly.

I did a rebuild on a pressure engine washer a few years ago, this carb worked great! This year I accidentally ripped off the primer bulb. Totally my fault. Instead of buying parts to fix it, the price on this was so good I just replaced the whole thing. In just 15 minutes with a few tools I was back up and running! So don't struggle cleaning out a gummed up old carb, just replace it.

I bought an early 2000's tiller that needed some work. It had the 6hp Tecumseh OHH60 engine on it. The carb bowl was leaking and the engine ran erratically, and rather than hunting down a rebuild kit, I just picked this little guy up. Had the carb swapped out in about 20 minutes versus who knows how long for a rebuild. Replaced the fuel line, put in some fresh gas, primed it, and we were rocking out a few pulls later. Engine runs strong and I tilled up a 900 sq foot garden the next evening. Since then it has consistently started from cold on the 2nd or 3rd pull, and on the first pull when warm.

Is working but differently from the original

It appears and works just as good as oem parts did when new. The primer bulb perhaps isn't quite as good but I would buy one again in a heartbeat. Tiller ran perfect.

This fit perfectly on an old Coleman generator that must have been left with old gas. It was cheaper to replace the whole carb than buy a kit (the magic of China!) and the generator started first pull.
