Money well spent! Don't hesitate on buying one!
I wear flip flops and backless shoes often enough to cause hard, rough calluses on my feet. I am also hypothyroid so I have dry skin on my extremities. Put those 2 together and they equal dry, cracking, callused and ugly heels. Since I'm not a total barbarian, I do have an arsenal of Pedi Eggs, a Microplane Egg, a pumice stone with handle for the shower, one of those ultra rough, sponge like faux pumice rectangles one uses with soap, a deadly razor tool (for wet feet only!) to shave calluses and 4 diamond foot files in various strengths to keep the calluses at bay. In addition, I get a professional pedicure every 3 weeks. All well and good, but the pumicing and filing and shaving keep the soles and heels soft for 2-3 days at most, and then the calluses build up, thicken and get rough again. I work full time, I'm single and there are no foot fetishists in my life who are longing to buff and file my feet on a daily basis and quite frankly, I am not up to doing it myself every day, either.I was considering the Big Splurge for a Clarisonic device for the feet, but could not justify it. Last Wednesday, I spent 45 minutes with first the Ped Egg, then the 4 files and a good slathering of Eucerin cream for feet. The same week, I went for a Friday pedicure and just prior to it, in spite of the Wednesday filing and buffing, my heels looked like I'd hiked the Italian Alps barefoot. Since Google is everyone's friend and I was growing tired of spending more time on my feet than I do on vacuuming, I researched "best callus remover" which led me to Amazon and the Emjoi Callus Remover. Since I am sick of battery operated things, I went for the "Most Powerful & Corded" model and it arrived today.BE SURE TO START WITH DRY FEET. Don't use this on moist feet, after soaking your feet or right out of the shower! The Emjoi Micro-Pedi POWER-Callus Remover is nicely packaged with an extra roller, a cleaning brush and a drawstring travel bag. Instant gratification is a biggie for me so I wanted to put this to work right away. I plugged it in and started on my left foot. One does not have to press or push or labor at using this little darling. Simply push the "on" button in and up and touch the blue roller to your callus. Operative word is TOUCH. Imagine placing your finger on a baby's eyelid or a butterfly's wing. The roller does the rest. I gently moved the roller all over my left heel for about 3 minutes, then stopped so I could look at and feel my handy work and clean the debrided skin from the roller. My heel was like satin.I spent, in total, about 10 minutes on each foot-heel, ball of the foot, outer edge of the big toe, outer edge of the little toe, instep. Not only was this easy, but I was astounded at the amount of dry, rough skin that was coming off so soon after my 45 minute routine of last week and the recent pedicure. My heels still have cracks, but they are not open cracks and I know smoothing them out will take time. The nicest part of using the Emjoi? The gentle buzz of the roller was almost as good as a foot massage and I was extremely relaxed when I finished my feet and cleaned the roller for the last time before putting everything away in the travel bag. Do you need to spend 10 minutes per foot? Not really, but this was so gentle and soothing, I did not want to stop. Since I was not gouging skin off my feet or digging down with a razor tool into tender new skin, rather just barely touching the roller to the foot, I felt no reason to rush. I will suggest using an old toothbrush to clean the roller. The brush that comes with the Emjoi is small and not really well suited to the job, especially if you have heavy calluses. My feet felt fresh, soft, pampered and revived when I was through. I think the ideal treatment, time permitting, would be to use the Emjoi as long as desired on dry feet, followed by a soak in warm, scented water, followed by an application of a thick lotion and then retire to bed. That's my plan for the next go 'round. I think it would be super to trade off using this on a friend and vice versa.I don't understand why people reviewed the battery operated model under this product-but I would not trade this in for anything! If you love feeling pampered, have hard to vanquish calluses, wear lots of backless or revealing shoes, are just a hedonist (or all of the aforementioned), this belongs in your foot care bag of tricks! What a fantastic purchase!

BEST ON MARKET
This is the Best Pedicure Machine on the market! I had the original battery operated version and it lasted 11 years!! So I immediately began my search for another one. To my joy, I found this unit which does not require batteries!I had an automobile accident which put me in cast on both legs for 2 years. This long amount of time without being able to wash my feet, allowed my feet to grow extremely thick and yellow calluses. These calluses were so thick I had to go to salon for professional removal monthly. This became expensive very quickly. My mother bought me my original micro-pedi . This has been my favorite gift in years. So it you want a product that’s been tried and tested on some serious feet issues, I assure you LOOK NO FURTHER!!>>>>PROS<<<<• No batteries to purchase• Power stays consistent during use• Does Not drag and slow down if you apply pressure• Removes even the oldest and hardest callus• A variety of stones are available from fine, coarse and extra coarse.• Replacement rollers are very Reasonably priced.• So much safer than the razor style callus removers.• Restores feet to a smooth fresh skin surface• For me: it improves circulation in my feet.>>>>CONS<<<<• I have found zero cons with this product.>>>OVERALL REVIEW CONCLUSION <<<• I definitely recommend this product to anyone who is looking for the best method of callus removal available.• No liquids required• No hard to use stones• Easy one hand operation restores your feet to expose the soft skin and improved circulation!• I expect this unit to last a minimum of 10 years based on my previous experience with this manufacture’s product!

It really works!
This is far better than I ever expected! I had deep cracks and scaled feet, but after using this and then showering right after, then applying cereve moisturizer for dry cracked skin, my feet are magically transformed into soft and healthy feet! I use the lotion everyday but only have to keep up with the filing once a week or every two weeks! This product saves you money on a professional pedicure and is sure to do a better job too! This is the first review I’ve ever done and I’m taking the time to do this review because this product has been an answer to my prayers! I learned about it thanks to my best friend, Erica, who uses it and said it works for her.

Super power
I purchased this in September 2022. I had a battery operated one that was very old and my daughter kept stealing it. I had someone get her her very own at Christmas in 2021 and I upgraded to the electric one in September. I'm done in just a few minutes. It does a much better job than my podiatrist. I've had zero issues with the workings of it and I am going to buy another one so my daughter stops stealing this one. 🙄I only use it about once a month or so. My feet are not bad, but I have bunions and apparently don't walk correctly so it is mainly for taking care of the buildup that happens in those spots. Any type of manicure or pedicure needs to be done on soft supple skin, not dry skin. The results are much more desirable if you use this after a long shower or swim.

Better than battery version
I bought the battery Emjoi from Costco several years ago before it suddenly died on me, so I decided to go with corded version this time around. I'm glad I did. Easy-peasy dry skin removal, nice size cord, and no hassle of changing or recharging batteries between self care. Great purchase!

ALMOST perfect
I've tried all of them......seriously, probably 10 different ones over the years, and this is definitely the best! The ONLY thing I dislike is the width of the roller is small and it is hard to get to some areas of my feet. But this thing is a BEAST! Being plugged in makes all of the difference. The cord was holding me up at first from buying but it is very long. Transformed my super dry feet with one usage. Only comes with one roller. Replacements are pricey but if you look around, you can find them cheaper. HIGHLY recommend.

Awesome
I had an older model for about 10 years so never hesitated to order a new model. Works great. Have such smooth feet using it frequently.

This effective tool pays for itself quickly
I bought this Emjoi corded micro-pedi so I could cut down my visits to the pedicurist. I used to own a cordless one, but gave it to a family member. The benefit of the corded version (over the battery-powered version) is that I don't have to fuss about batteries; in other respects, the corded and cordless models have the same power "oomph" in treating calluses and rough skin.I find it to be a great pedicure tool, especially when I use it in conjunction with a Microplane Colossal Foot Rasp. I could use the Emjoi on its own and achieve great results, but I find that using these two implements together is a lot more efficient. The foot rasp does the heavy "planing" quickly, while the Emjoi micro pedi does the "finish sanding", so to speak. The benefit of the corded version is that I don't have to fuss about batteries. My advice to Canadian Amazoners is to shop around for the best price for the item. When I bought this on Amazon.ca, in late January 2015, Emjoi was selling it directly, and at $59.99 CDN with shipping included. I don't remember whether it was thru Amazon Prime, or whether it was fulfilled by Amazon or Emjoi, but it was a good deal. Between November and January, 2017, the Amazon.ca price was > $100, but finally, as of January 30, it's dropped to around $55 including shipping. A good time to buy at this price. With salon pedicures priced anywhere from $23 to $45 where I live, a well-priced Micro-Pedi will pay for itself very quickly. It's a good investment. On an ongoing basis, the abrasive rollers will need to be replaced. I've used Emjoi's own (OEM) replacement rollers (bought at Rexall) and third party (non-OEM) rollers that I bought on Amazon, and both performed very well. The non-OEM rollers are somewhat less expensive than the OEM ones.

For soft skin like that of babies
The micro-Pedi is an excellent pedicure tool for the feet. Its design allows use on just about any contour of the foot. And its power is in line with my expectations.I equipped myself with the electric micro-Pedi by what the battery-powered one died after 5 years. Its handle is smaller and handles better. Its electrical cord measures about 80 inches. And I was able to use my spare rollers that I had left without any problem,I am very satisfied and I recommend it to all those who like me has a callus factory on the feet like me.
