Bought this Keyboard Twice. The first time, it was sold by iMkeyboard, I got it b/c of Prime shipping. When the package arrived, the Keyboard inside looked like the original. When I installed the keyboard, however, I noticed that 1) The keyboard lights did not work (I don't mean backlights, I mean the Caps Lock, WiFi, and Mute lights on the corner of the keys) and 2) When I started typing, I noticed some keys would not register on first press. This was ok when typing normal text, but became especially problematic when typing in passwords, when I could not see if all the keys had properly registered.I returned it, and bought it again, this time sold from LotFancy (had to wait 4 days but still free). This one looked a little less polished (some white residue where the printing was, but this was erasable), but upon plugging it in, the Keyboard was as responsive as the original, and the lights worked normally. Great product.Lesson: make sure seller is LotFancy

the keyboard works fine and was easy to install, but unlike the original one it doesn't have the light feature, which I used a lot before. Not a deal breaker for me, especially since it doesn't cost too much.

This fit perfectly and enabled me to use my computer again. The only complaint come from the placement of some of the hotkeys. The hot key for the calculator is right next to the left ctrl. During some games this causes me to accidentally switch out of the gamescreen to the uneeded calculator at a critical point of the game.The function keys are automatically set so that you have to press the "fn" key in order touse them. If you press "f11" for instance, the volume is muted. If you press"fn" and then "f11" your browser goes full screen. opposite of what I am used to.

Nice replacement for the Pavillion dv6 (HP) laptop. Install was a bit difficult but found some videos to help. Mute andd Wireless lights (buttons) work but there is no backlit keyboard option as stated so that button is replaced with a PAUSE button (not sure what that does). I never used the back light anyway.Keyboard has nice feel and seems to hold up after a few weeks.

During cleaning the keyboard my HP Pavilion dv6-3-31nr laptop I had damaged the plastic cup of the the Space bar key because i used the wrong cleaning agent ( Alcohol Swabs ) after removing all the keys one by one . The keyboard had become erratic and after unsuccessful attempts of using Epoxy Glue , I became frustrated and ordered this keyboard from Amazon . I received the order in time and good condition and after comparing with the keyboard ( which was installed by the company in my Laptop ) , I didn't find any difference . This keyboard fits many different models of HP laptops as given in the Product description . After watching a you tube video on how to install HP Pavilion dv6 keyboard , it was easy to replace my old keyboard . Just a matter of removing few screws on the back of my laptop and memorizing where those screws belong so that the exact size of screws would be put back in their respective locations . So far , this keyboard works perfectly and i don't feel any difference between this new keyboard and the one i replaced . The cheapest i could find was here on Amazon and I cannot be happier .

I bought this to swap out the bac keyboard in my laptop. Arrived on time, fit great but something is out of whack and now the display on my laptop doesn't work right. I ended up hooking up a side monitor. Makes it useless in the laptop. I could have saved my money.

The keyboard is fine and everything that was advertised, however I purchased the wrong type of replacement keyboard and it did not work for the model of lap top that I have, not an issue with it though :)

The replacement keyboard works well. The only thing that is not good is it's a different model than my original. That info was not seen when ordered. I should have made sure I checked that first.This new keyboard is not illuminated like the original was.
