How to Draw Ferocious Dinosaurs and Other Prehistoric Creatures: A Drawing Book for Kids Packed with 80+ Amazing Dinosaurs (How to Draw Series)

My 7 year old son was looking for a dinosaur drawing book, but this one is a little over complicated in regards to the steps. One step to another are sort of a big leap in regards to the linework. He also attempted to use it for tracing, but that’s not really possible with the pages being printed on front and back (you see the opposite side on the light table.)It’s an okay book, but maybe was too advanced for his age.

This book has super cute illustrations and a variety of dinosaurs to learn how to draw. (we were especially part that it included the pterodactyl). The instructions are easy to follow and my son really enjoyed using it! Also purchased the book on how to draw monsters by the same company. I hope they will make a book on unicorns, fairies, or mermaids because I know my daughter would love that!

Besides being interested in dinosaur facts he also love drawing them. He is very happy with this book, therefore I am very happy with this book.

This is an excellent resource to learn how to create detailed drawings of dinosaurs. Children 6 and older will find this book helpful and fun. I included a box of Crayons that are intended as 24 skin colors - but worked well for the many shades needed for dinosaurs.

My 9 yo son loves dinosaurs. It’s a good book. I would add grid to the drawings to make it easier for copying. Also, I would like to see the recommendations for using different colour media. (Pencil, markets, watercolour). My son is not good at drawing, it took us 1 hour with my detail explanations to draw one dino.

Bought this for my nephew as he is a budding artist who loves dinosaurs.

Fantastic book, granddaughter loved it.
