Fletter Card Game

This is a great game. Really easy to play and actually quite educational. It is a good one to take on holiday or for a weekend away and the whole family can play it together. I would say - best played with kids aged 9 and upwards or you can help the little ones and adapt the rules slightly. It's great fun and quick. I would defo recommend it!

Yo lo quería para mis clases de inglés y la verdad es que me encanta. Los niños entran muy rápido en el juego y las partidas son cortas, por lo que no ocupan demasiado rato de clase. Aprenden mucho vocabulario sin darse cuenta y les ayuda a pensar rápido en inglés. También sirve para jugar en español aunque yo quito algunas letras que son más comunes en inglés como la k o la w.Por otro lado, al final son cartas con letras, por lo que lo recomiendo sólo si es tan barato como yo lo compré. Si no, puede que te compense imprimir y plastificar las letras por ti mismo.

I had never heard of this game but since my 6 year old has been playing games like Scrabble, Uno, Monopoly etc for last 2 years, I wanted to get some other games. Since I was supposed to travel, my preference was a card game. I chanced upon this and learnt how to play this. After playing this for 3 months, I can happily recommend this to others. And it is equally challenging for grown ups. There are 4 rounds. In the first round you have to make 3 letter words, in the second round 4 letter words and then 5 and 6 letter words. Each card has a letter. All the cards will be distributed among 2 to 4 players. Every player plays a card each and all the cards need to be displayed prominently. Whoever calls out the 3/4/5/6 letter word first, gets those cards. This game is very fast and you have to think words at a fast pace. After all the cards are over with the players and when no more words could be formed from the displayed cards, that round is over. Each card has a score written on it. After the round gets over, you calculate your points. You need to add your points for all the rounds and whoever scores the highest, wins the game. There are -2 cards for any wrong words. I highly recommend this game.

This is one of our favourite games. Extremely fast paced and involves a lot of fun, screaming and fighting. We always keep a box of cards handy since this requires minimum space and can be played absolutely everywhere. I bought a pack over a year ago and now all my friends want one too!

A very nice group game. It is lots of fun and also educative.

Found that this game is so similar to Scrabble, albeit much faster. Also a bit tricky in the later rounds when 5 and 6 letter words starts coming into play.All in all, a fun family game for certain ocassions.
