This bacon grease worked for our trail mix and some other things my wife used it for. The container size is nice and there is good value with the 3 pack. This our 2nd time to order it.

I've ordered this excellent product twice and both time the seller is outstanding. The owner, Christie, is polite and so very helpful. I wish I lived her because I'd love to taste her cooking with Hot Belly. Plus she just seems like a delightful person based upon her correspondence included in the order. You can't go wrong with HOT BELLY bacon grease. One of the most creative and inventive food related items we've ever purchased. Don't let the cost discourage you, it's worth it - period.Healthier that regular bacon grease yet matches the essence of bacon grease and can be used to enhance many varying cooking ideas. The packaging is perfected and thoughtful, they even include recipes for you to try (delivery was timely). We use it on all our dishes where bacon grease is preferred, all of them outstanding. Memories of childhood! Now that I'm older and it is a lot easier to buy the pre-cooked bacon, so it seems there is never any bacon grease for frying eggs. And there are no better tasting eggs than those fried in bacon grease. Veggie oil...nope. Lard was the next best thing, but still lacking in that special flavor. Bring on the Hot Belly! No, I'm not a relative, no I don't hold any financial interest, and yes, I paid full price for the product and the shipping, and yes, I am real customer for (a long-hopefully) life!!! Get yourself some. Having trouble with lumpy gravy? My Mom taught me the secret to un-lumpy gravy is adding more fat, and she always reached for the bacon grease for the best gravy's ever. Great stuff.

This is our second time using this product and my wife dearly loves it! She no longer has to fry 2-3 pounds of bacon just for the grease she uses for many recipes she makes. Being from Louisiana she uses a lot of bacon grease. After opening she plops it in the fridge until next time. When she uses it smells like bacon and tastes like bacon in her green beans, purple hull peas, many of her pasta dishes and she even uses in her gumbo and jambalaya, etc. I don’t think she will ever be without it again!!!

I did not taste any bacon flavor in this product at all. Very bummed.

Having cooked with Bacon Grease all of my life I was doubtful about a pre-packaged version of this. But since I don't cook as much bacon as I used to decided to try it. WOW! Had I not known that I took this out of a package I would swear that it was fresh from the frying pan home made Bacon grease. You get all of the flavor, but none of the burnt pieces or anything like that. Just pure clean product. Checked the ingredients on the jar and only has 4 ingredients. 2 of them being preservatives others are by products of bacon, so this is as natural as you can get. Product was actually delivered ahead of schedule and I received a hand-written thank you note in the package. Class act. I will definitely be ordering this again in the future!!

I ordered this product since the ingredient list only listed bacon. Unfortunately, that is not the case as it has sugar, nitrates and numerous chemicals/ingredients not listed. I have to avoid nitrates and citric acid in my household and would not have ordered this product had it been listed in the ingredients. On top of that, I cannot return it for a refund. False advertising in my opinion. I could have ordered Bacon Up which has the same ingredients for a lot less money if I wanted all the chemicals in it.
