I bought these for our family holiday. We usually self cater but eat out for lunch and sometimes get surprised by portion sizes. These don’t take up much space in a day bag while exploring and allow us to take any leftover food back to our accommodation. We also take a frozen juice pack with us to keep the food cool while we are still exploring. We found that you can collapse the container around the food to keep if from moving in The container and to save space. If you haven’t got much food the smaller tubs will sit inside the larger one with the ice pack in the bottom of it. The alternative would be asking the restaurant to box up the food which would be in disposable packaging and probably not as compact.We did get some odd looks from other restaurant customers on our recent holiday to Berlin but I am happy we can do our bit to reduce single use packaging and food waste.
