USA Pumice - 1.25 Dry Quarts

**UPDATE BELOWCan’t find this stuff anywhere where I live. I have a lot of succulents so I wanted to try pumice to see how it would do. The bag is smaller than a bag of chips, (best way for me to describe it) so if you need it for bigger sized pots or a lot of plants, like I do, you would definitely need 2 or even 3 bags. As far as how well it works, I don’t know yet. We shall see.**I have now been using this product for a few months in all of my succulents and I have to say I’m impressed! It has made a huge difference in most of my plants. They seem to thrive and grow better, ones that seemed stunted, began to grow again. Not to mention that I have now successfully propagated several leaves using only the pumice. I never got passed a few roots using regular soil or sand, now I have baby succulents growing well and hopefully will become full plants. I 100% recommend this for anyone with succulents. It has really made a difference!

This stuff is a must have if you want your plants to thrive. I can't find anything like this at any of my local garden centers. I was having a difficult time with the "big box" succulent soil. It was not fast draining and it was drowning my succulents. I came across this and read the reviews stating that is also helps with flies, pest etc. I mix it in with my soil and use it as a top soil for aesthetics. It's wonderful. I've purchased it many times. I also just purchased this brands premixed succulent soil, and those plants are Thriving!!

Great for my succulent & cacti soil, also keeps the gnats away! For anyone having issues with the pumice becoming discolored - you have to add a thicker layer of it. I noticed the rock closest to the soil does discolor to a rust color, but if you have it thick enough, it won't look that way on the top. All of my plants did the same thing, I just added a little more rock and it's perfect now.

The product itself was good quality and worked well for the cactus plants I was repotting. However, the package was not sealed at the top completely and spilled out into the mailing box. This wouldn’t have been a problem if it had been packed by itself, but I had ordered 6 devotional books as Christmas gifts and the white rocks and fine powder completely covered all of the books inside and out. This was extremely disappointing. I’m surprised that Amazon would have allowed these two type of items to be shipped together.

Kinda my go-to for my soil mixes and potted cacti topper. Mix it in with my nepenthes moss/bark mix, too. Pieces are pretty uniform. I’ve seen people complain about the dust, and I’ve noticed some, but I just rinse it as I use it. Seems like it’s just residue from the rocks rubbing against each other in the bag, I doubt it could damage anything. I feel like this is a super small amount for the price, but also have nothing to compare it to as I can’t find any pumice in my area unless I go to a private nursery and overpay. So I’ll stick with this until I find something better!

Will always but this brand for now on! Wasn't dusty and they were all the same size.I used this to repot all 17 of my house plants and I still have a tiny bit left over. It doesn't float to the top like perlite. Great buy

Wish I got a bigger bag for my other plants. These white pebbles make a beautiful bedding and form a barrier to prevent fungus gnats from reproducing in the soil. This plants soil was infested with gnats and two days later they are almost completely eliminated with these pebbles and the help of an indoor plant pesticide. Will definitely be getting more houseplants and more of these pebbles to cover their soil.

I found horticultural lava rocks for more than half the price of these. I just needed them to make my soil more airy. Overpriced
