Does slow down the slipping,but does not stop it.

For many years, I needed to fix my couch cushions so frequently. It was really stressful. I tried velcro but it didn't help at all. As soon as I put these on, the cushions stopped sliding. Even my toddlers jump on them, and they stay. I took one star off as I wish it were little bit cheaper, it also took about a month to arrive from overseas.Update: After one month of use, almost no movement of the cushions. Bumping to five stars since it works so well!

Why did I not know about these before? They are brilliant on my leather sofa. No more cushions sliding forwards in an attempt to start tipping guests onto the floor.

Unlike many others the size of these is just right to tuck under a large sofa cushion.My new sofa's seat cushions seemed to have a slippery mind of their own and continually needed tucking back into place.With these mats they are are now staying solidly in place.The mats are slightly 'rougher' on one side than the other and for me rough side down seemed more logical on the smoother sofa base material although the cushions still didn't move when I tried it out with it facing up instead.Great result (although you'd think the sofa makers could have seen / sorted this problem out !)Delivery took 16 days but well worth waiting for
