This is a great case for my new Google Nexus 9.
First the (maybe) negatives...If weight is an issue, then this is not the case for you. The case is far and away from lightweight, but the trade-off for that extra weight is extra protection. My tablet is covered on all sides and corners by a thick coating of leather like padding. While I'm not going to drop my tablet to test the protection that the MoKo case offers, there are very few situations that I can imagine where the tablet would suffer any serious damage when dropped.Features...Easy access to all ports and the cameras (front and back) have unobstructed views as you would expect from a case. There is a handy, wide elastic hand strap for operation in portrait mode, making the tablet easy to use one handed. At first, I didn't realize that there is an additional thin elastic strap on the other side of the inside cover for keeping the cover from flapping over when using the hand strap. This strap was originally thought to stretch from top to bottom when using the hand strap. Using the elastic strap from top to bottom can cover a (very) small amount of the screen on the right hand side. I've discovered that you can get the same effect by only stretching the elastic band over either the top right or bottom right corner and this eliminates the strap covering any of the screen. The case serves as a stand in landscape mode with 3 different viewing angles. These work well and once set, your tablet should stay in of one of the viewing angles. This a a great feature for viewing videos on a plane with the tablet propped on the tray table. There is an elastic loop on the side for a pen or stylusThe case contains magnets in the correct spots for taking your tablet out of and putting it into sleep mode when opening and closing it respectively.Installation...There are 3 "hooks" (for lack of a better word) top and bottom, that hold your tablet in the case. These are located at the (in portrait mode) Left corner, center right and right corner of the top and bottom of the tablet. To install your tablet into the case you need to slide the tablet through the center right hooks until the tablet corners are snugly fit into the right corner hooks. You can then snap (and unsnap for use as a stand) the corners of the tablet into the left hooks. This wasn't immediately obvious and it took me a few minutes to figure out how to get the tablet into the case.Overall impressions...In general, I really like the case and it fits my needs quite well. Yes the case is a bit heavy but that doesn't bother me much and I would rather protect my $500 investment. I find the hand strap very useful and it is great to not have to spend any effort gripping my tablet in portrait mode. I find the stand to work quite well when operating in landscape mode as well. A bit of a graphic as instructions for how to install the tablet would have saved me about a minutes worth of aggravation but as that is my only complaint and was a one time thing, I can't really knock the product much. I will have to see how the case weathers constant daily use and travel but so far I am very happy. I also think the case is a good value. That is just my opinion however. Go out and try it for yourself.

Best Case
This is my second MoKo case. I have another one for the 2013 Nexus 7. Overall I think these are the most usable cases for the tablets I have used. The tablet is held in securely in the tight grips on the four corners. The strap for holding the tablet is supremely useful when reading/browsing or watching videos. Using it as a stand is great for watching videos or in times with only one monitor, having documentation open on the tablet to read as I work on something. The stand is good to keep the tablet easy to view so I can use a bluetooth keyboard with the tablet in the times when I need to use Office or Excel. I've tried cases with keyboards and it's more comfortable to just buy a cheaper separate Bluetooth keyboard. Open the case and the screen lights on and close the case and the tablet goes back to sleep. Overall after now having two cases from the same brand, MoKo is probably my preferred case provider. The tabs that grip them are very tight and the part where the material is stitched together catches onto the edges of the Nexus 9 where the casing is joined. It feels like with enough pull offs, you might end up ripping open the casing of the Nexus 9. I ended up cutting the edges off of two of the corner grips and using clear tape to have it smooth. Inelegant fix but I like it better.

Slim fit: solid case, one defect
The product setup here is confusing. There are three very different models all lumped together. It's impossible to tell which model people are providing comments for. I'm commenting on the "slim fit".I like the case, but there does seem to be one defect that keeps it from getting 5 stars. The lip extends past the edge of the tablet near the power / volume buttons making them awkward to press. Not sure if I got a lemon, it looks like a manufacturing mistake.Several people here commented that the cover squeezed their tablet to the point of exacerbating light bleed. This is not the case with the slim fit model. It holds the tablet firmly but does not squeeze it.EDIT: was contacted my merchant who offered to send a different model cover at no change. I am going to give the "smart shell" a try. I'm not optimistic since it doesn't look like the edges are not well protected with that cover, but the customer service from Moko is excellent and they gain a star for that.

Good protection but fell apart
My first review was about a week after starting to use the case and it was doing well. Unfortunately, the case is now 7 months old and I have to replace it. The first two corner "claws" gave up the ghost about a month ago. Those were the two that have to be popped off so that you can stand the tablet up. One of the other corners broke about a week ago. My tablet slid out of the case when I opened it because only the top and bottom are being held along the edge. I've had Moko cases before and they held up well but they were not "convertible" cases so the tablet was slipped in and secured without any need to release it from any of the grips. This case simply did not hold up to being used for its intended purpose. I'm now shopping for a case with a pivot so that I can stand and rotate my tablet without having to put any strain on retaining points.

Perfect Protection for My Nexus 9
I wanted something cheap but not too cheap to protect my Nexus 9 while the official keyboard case in on indefinite backorder, and this is perfect! It looks surprisingly nice and high-quality for the price, the tablet fits perfectly (including the camera cutout), sleep/wake functionality works, and it feels very sturdy and protective without being overly bulky. It's also easy to set the tablet at one of two angles, and comfortable to hold in my hands. I could do without the hand strap because I never use it, but it doesn't get in the way.

The only sensible choice for your Nexus 9 tablet case.
Does everything I want it to. protects and puts tablet into standby when closed. Wakes up when opened. Nice little elasticated loop on the side for my " touch pen" The fold out stand works fine and is easy to deploy. Useful strap for holding it if you are in a busy or standing only location. Sprung retainer keeps lid closed under all conditions. Highly recommend and well worth the money.

Buy Moko Nexus 9 case you won't regret it.
Previously I had a Nexus 7 (2012) with the Moko case. I recently bought the Nexus 9 and also bought the official Nexus 9 HTC Keyboard Folio Case. I was so dissapointed in that case, the cost, the experience of using it and its build quality that I sent it back. The Moko cases may not have a keyboard but they fit perfectly, feel good and the quality is fantastic. Most of all they protect your device really well. I won't be making that mistake again and will always go with Moko.

Fantastic case
I'm really impressed by this case, it fits perfectly and is very versatile. I bought the PU leather version for Nexus 9 and the materials used are very nice, not at all cheap-looking. Excellent quality.
