The fabric "flame" looked a bit tatty at first but an effective flame when the lamp is lit. The lamp is an extremely bright red colour

Noisy!
If you're deaf this is a nice item. Personally I can't hear my TV over the noise it makes.

Speedy delivery, faulty but company keen to rectify
Ours arrived with the bulb working but the fan to make the flames flicker, not working. Even a friend who is an electrician couldn't get the fan to work. After contacting the company, they are keen to replace asap, without a quibble.
