Daiwa Accudepth Plus-B Line Counter Levelwind Fishing Reel (Silver, 27)

I’ve used them for years and wouldn’t consider any other brand

At first it seemed as though it was not working correctly as the line feed loop would not travel back and forth when reeling. You need to be sure to loosen the drag pawl up. A little lube also helped free it up for movement. A good reel costing much less than the very expensive ones.

I’m switching all of my line counter reels over to theses Daiwa reels. Smooth easy action. NoBacklash and never stick like my Cabela’s reels.

Initially had issues with drag and realized my backer was slipping on the spool. Used electrical tape under backer and has worked excellent since. Counter window gets fogged up during inclement weather, otherwise solid purchase.

I use mine for everything from trolling for walleye to trolling for muskie and salmon and it works like a champ, I like the 27 series due to the spool size saves on line and I have yet to have a fish spool the real. It has been durable to this point and I would highly recommend this to any fisherman that trolls for constantly getting back to the same spot you caught fish.

I have used Daiwa line counter reels and have been very happy with the quality. There are other brands but Daiwa seems to be a better item...

Can’t wait to use this reel this season

Line counter is a joke on the accudepths. Bought three and one okuma. After trolling on the weekends for a few months, the line counters have failed on two of the three. pressing the reset button does nothing. The third is starting to go bad. Will be replacing them with Okuma Coldwater reels.

The reel is not too big for a ice fishing rod. The reset on counter works well. It does need a full reel of fishing line to read quite accurately.

Nice reel should increase my catch. Good line capacity looking forward to using it when weather warms up.
