One of the reviews said it was real granite. Mine certainly is not. It is pressed board with a cheesy finish. Had I not read that review, I would have gone for a butcher block top. Directions are lacking so took longer than it should have to assemble. Casters are better quality than most. Ok starter piece for my son but will be looking to replace the top. I would recommend looking at a better piece with nicer top for the price.Note: When assembling and using high impact driver, make sure you have on lowest setting. You can't tighten the the screws all the way as it does crack the cheap boards.

For the price, this is an excellent cart. I wasn't expecting a real marble top for this price and the description said marble finish...enough said. It looks good but probably will not withstand high temperatures. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that the instructions were lacking. They ended with the topper and failed to provide instructions for the door or drawer, however since I am experienced in putting these things together, I figured it out on my own. The instructions also did not make mention of the glue to be used on the wood dowels...I found the glue after I had finished and wished I had seen it in the pack sooner. For the reviewer who gave it one star and said that the top just came off, may I offer some advice. When working with cams after you insert the bolt into the cam, you must screw the cam to the right as far as it will go. This locks the bolt and ta-da, your top won't come off. Also if you failed to turn all the cams as you put it together, it will be wobbly...the cams are what tightens everything together. Another reason for the 4 stars is that the piece stickers won't come off easily...I suggest a cotton ball soaked in alcohol or some sticky remover. It is also helpful to have two people, I did it all myself which might be a bit of the reason for my own frustration. Sure was happy when I got it done though.

I've been using this cart as a coffee/tea bar for about a year.The bad:-It was a little tough to get together with one person, but it's doable.-After a few months the door started rubbing against the top shelf when it opens and closes. This is because a few cams had loosened and cause the entire unit to slightly lean right. Have to retighten all joints every few months now.-The cabinet inside the right door accumulates a strong particleboard/manufactured smell. I have deep-cleaned the entire unit several times which clears it up, but after a few days with the door closed, it smells right out of a factory again.-The left side shelves need to be dusted now and then. If I could go back I'd buy something with double doors and of higher wood quality.The good:- Despite the leaning mentioned above, the cart is stable.-Looks great even with the sub-par materials.-It's a great size for an apartment/home with a small kitchen.Overall probably worth it to invest in something nicer, the smell alone is enough for me to start looking at upgrades.

I would probably give this 3.5 stars but I rounded up. Let me tell you why it lost 1.5 stars. The marble top is a piece of wood that has a hydro dipped marble finish. It does make the cart look a bit cheaper. It's priced high, this is probably more of an 80 dollar cart. Step 3 of the instructions was a mother to put together. Laying it on it's side and lining up 3 shelves was not an easy task. So bad hydro-dipped marble, priced high, and some difficulty putting together. However, I am happy with this purchase. It's something that is out of the way, holding my kitchen aid mixer and mortar and pestle, and hidden storage for kitchen supplies. It's doing the things I bought it for, but don't expect this to be a head turner.

I assembled solo, two would've been better. Looks great, perfect size for coffee and wine bar. A second shelf behind door would be nice- I'm making my own to add.

I absolutely love the piece, however thank goodness my partner and I are good with building. There are so any pieces, it took us a few hours to finish. Thistle wooden dowels...make sure u have wood glue to help keep the pieces together. And have some help. It takes 2 on some pieces

I love this cart. It is replacing one that was bigger. We purchased a portable dishwasher and we needed to have something smaller. The shelves are perfect for storing our small appliances, dog food and things we use regularly the cupboard holds our food processor and the draw keeps our gadgets . I would highly recommend it. I do suggest putting the packing materials outside as there is a terrible odor.

The product was packaged well. The instructions were very detailed. All of the hardware came in separate labeled bags that corresponded to the directions. Very solid piece just put it together last night hopefully it lasts for a long time.

For the price, it's decent quality. It's not the SUPER cheap particle board you usually get. Don't get me wrong, it's not high quality by any means, but it's sturdy enough, and the table top is attractive. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

Very disappointed!! Mislead to believe with the add that the statedMarble "finish" top was stone. It's actually a laminate surface with a printed stone image.

There is a piece missing. So i can't put it together and i cant seem to contact anyone...
