It was cool all 2 times I opened it but it's very difficult to collapse and when I did it fell apart and was beyond repair. It sliced my middle finger a little bit too so it was not a fun time trying to collapse it. I hope I can just refund it and not make the same mistake again.

I've owned an apearing cane for 2 years now and felt like i needed a replacement. I went for something more gentlemen like than a metal rod but I had no idea what to expect from this listing. Immediately I noticed that the cane doesn't even come out nearly as fast or as far as a pure metal cane does ruining the illusion to this trick. this is probably due to the way the cane is coated with the black material as it sticks more than slides. I guess it's a plus if you want a cane that doesn't wiggle around or extend by it's own when you swing it fast or hard. other than that I'm pretty disappointed but enough to justify a refund

This item is very dangerous. I cut my finger on the rough edges. Do not recommend.

Not worth the money..terrible design. You fold it out and it takes forever to get it back but not before your cutting yourself on edges.

Don't know wether to blame the product or the maker but so take this review with a grain of salt. Unfortunately It came with the trigger bent making it extremely difficult to spring open, and once it had it immediately folded and creasing the sheet metal which can almost guarantee it is broken. Again not sure if this was a product issue or a shipping issue but highly not recommended and save your money for something else.

The edges will get more jagged the more you use it. Nearly lost my eye when trying to put it back to normal. It can be fun, but dangerous.

Granted this is a 10$ item but still. It should work better than it it. At about the second use, it became difficult to collapse. After the third use, a kink developed when it was expanded. Took about 25 - 35 minutes to get the kink out and now it will only collapse about 90% the way down easily. While trying to get the kink out of it the top mechanism that locks the prop into it's collapsed form broke off and now cannot be reattached.
