Pretty, but not durable
I bought the same flag last spring. It was very pretty but only lasted 3 months before it started to fray. I searched the internet in vain looking for a better quality flag but could not find anything that I liked as much as this one. So I bought the same flag this spring. I wish the material was more durable like the flags of 20 years ago. I have several flags that are 20 years old that I put up in the other seasons but I can't find a durable one for Spring/Summer.

Beautiful but Delicate.
Another reviewer already stated this: it's made out of a satiny (flat luster) material in a ribbon finish. It's quite lovely, but as the other reviewer stated, it will fade quickly in direct sunlight. But, it's classy and attractive. Maybe this would be best for a shady or even an indoor display?

It is quite a sturdy and very colorful flag
This flag has 2 small pieces of material with a "slit" in each of them inside both ends of the "looped" area where the flagpole slides through the flag. My flagpole has a plastic covering over the wood with a "hook" at each end of the plastic, and that's where the flag goes. So I can slide a hook into each slit, and because of the plastic covering, the flag doesn't tend to tangle as much. It is quite a sturdy and very colorful flag, and I like it!

we purchase these flags seasonal and put outside of our store, we love the bright colors, they are very durable and high quality, tons of choices too.

Sticky Coating
This has some sort of coating on it that makes it stick to itself. There are tiny tears in the coating after one use. The resistance to water has become compromised.
