I’m a fan of the lead actors in this story. It’s well acted, music by Lisa’ Hartman Black’s husband Clint Black is also good too. Big time doctor comes back home for her high school reunion. Like most of us, we dread reunions, so does she. But coming home for her isn’t easy for family reasons too. Old friends sometimes are what you really need to bring you bank to reality though. And, a heart that has to learn how to love again.

I would recommend this movie highly. I watch it every week! The story about a woman who returns to her small hometown from a large city where she is an excellent doctor who really cares about her patients. In this story, Syd (Lisa Hartman Black) had been away from her hometown and had not been back since her beloved Father's death years earlier. She first encounters a friend who is now an attorney who always had a crush on her. Then there is her old high school boyfriend who is played by Dale Midkiff . He is a handsome sweet guy who is a widower with a cute 7 year son. Now to the big relationship is explored with her mom (Rue McClanahan) As Syd and her mom to understand an old family secret. Syd had not seen or spoken to her mom since her dad's death and finally understands the truth regarding this. She is aided by an old classmate who now is a Minister. Syd sees her wrong conclusions she had reached with her mom and all ends well. This is just my favorite movie. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to get a second chance at love!!

I had seen this years and I just Love the cast, 03 of my all time favorite. Lisa Hartman, Dale Midkiff- He is just an amazing actor. He was in Love comes softly and others. I wish there were more movies with these two Lisa Hartman , I would love to see her in movies, since she got married, have not seen any. Oh and no way not least, Rue McClannahan, she is gone now. She was always a hoot in the Golden Girls. She always played such great roles , great actress. Gone , never forgotten.

Back to You & Me I've lived a long time and remember when you could go to a movie almost every week and see a "family" type movie in the 1950's.Today it it is so rare to find a good movie that when I see one I often buy it if there is a good reasonable story line.This story is about a middle aged female doctor.....with the body of a 19 yr old and pretty face, (who moves away from home and finally returns home and meets two guys amoung many former friends from the small town she grew up in.Of course her former "sweetheart" was a quarterback on the HS football team, now a widower with a nice kid with digestive problems, but meantime she winds up seeing "Mr. Right" in a new light of the wisdom of years and the obvious happens but not before several obstacles must be overcome, some of them painfull.I decided to buy this having seen it on "Hallmark" movie channel, and what do you know, it actually has an ending, much unlike so many Hallmark movies that leave the ending to your imigination which drives me crazy.While my passion was and still is Politics both local, national and international, history of the world and the reason for all the wars and joined the Army in 1963 for Combat Infantry (you could say I've been an agressive guy towards "bad guys" all my life to this very day, I have learned over many years so many people are not happy with their marriages and feel sorry for them because so many made the wrong choices....looks, money, you name it.I won't say I was just plain lucky to find the "Right Girl" 6 yrs my junior, I knew what I was looking for, a REAL housewife so it was a total surprise to meet my 17yr old in her senior year of high school and after having seen so much "real life" in the army via my last 1 1/2 years in the army as support for Military Intelligence, I found someone so young and untarnished by the dark side of life.....and she made me cookies for Christmas 2 mos after I met her....definitely brought out the romance in this man even tho she was so young which led to her marrying early at 18 to my age 24.The above is the explanation for why a guy turns to romantic movies after reading military history, rather gory reading by any account; even I need a break in the action which my ADHD brain craves.Here's to true love successes and happy days; enjoy the movie; both me and my wife did!

I had ordered this Movie years ago, and it worked GREAT when I had my Old School TV. This year, I upsized to a 50" Flat Screen, and it turned out BLURRY. Very upset with that. Since this Movie was so old, I did not think that I would be able to order it again but in an UPDATED version. Even though I thought this Movie was expensive, I went ahead and ordered it since I had to throw away the other one because I did not want it to ruin my NEW DVD player and the Flat Screen. I must say that this movie arrived to me in THREE days and is so CLEAR !!! Thank you, Amazon, for finding me a Seller. It was carefully packaged and arrived in EXCELLENT Condition.

I love the film hich I saw on TV.I was really looking forward to having this in my personal collection but unfortunately I can't play it on my Sony DVD player.It would appear it is the wrong region so its sitting on the shelf.Pity

Though this movie might not be one full of intense drama, it's definitely one full of good values. The importance of forgiveness and good communication is portrayed very well. It's also about second chances. This is a story full of hope for reconciliation, no matter what caused the breach in the relationship. A movie easy to watch, with enough humor to keep it light. No profanity, sex or violence.

Good movie. Heavier subject.

I love this film - recorded it on a VHS tape prior to buying the DVD but it is a film I have watched over and over again and am still watching and enjoying it. If you are very romantic at heart you will certainly enjoy it!!
