ZUM Cedar Soap Bar, 3 OZ

This is a nice soap, but to me it does not smell like cedar. In smelling it, I am not reminded of cedar forests or cedar chests or even a cedar closet. When I smell this soap I think of a kitchen. It smells like a combination of cedar and cinnamon. It is a pleasant smell, but I am looking for a true cedar fragrance and this is not it. I will probably buy this soap in another fragrance and keep looking for the perfect cedar soap. This soap is rather soft and gets used up fairly quickly, but I happen to prefer that. I figure that means it is leaving more fragrance on my skin. (Most soaps I buy are triple milled and last a long time but do not seem to impart much of their perfume to me.) It is a nice creamy soap and lathers reasonably well in the hard water of my area. Even though I like the soap, it isn't really worth the price plus the shipping cost. I don't know if the soap is available locally, but I will search.

doesn't really smell like cedar. it's more like cinnamon potpourri. it reminds me of a country store around christmas time. I'd prefer a true cedar scent. Dr Squatch makes a good one, but theirs doesn't last long.

Wonderful soap, perhaps one of my favorites scent-wise. I find it comforting and calming. However, I don't agree with the use of palm oil and the losses incurred by its over-harvest. I'll have to research the other ingredients to form a basis on buying again.

Wouldn't change a thing! Love the cedar scent! Lathers well in our lightly softened water and is mild on sensitive skin. The company that i bought this through on Amazon is called "Soap Hope". Take a few minutes to visit them and see what they are doing. I am now purchasing this fantastic product exclusively from them.

In LOVE with the scent of this. And it's a pretty gender neutral scent as well, so my boyfriend really likes it too. Makes my skin feel really soft and hydrated.

I was very excited to smell this soap, as I love piney/cedar scents. This smells VERY much like clove and nothing like cedar. Zum soaps are my favorite, but this one disappointing me.

This IS THE BEST soap I have ever used! Love it! I use it daily and will not use any other product. The fact that they support women in dire conditions is a wonderful plus!

I don't know what took me so long to try this brand, but I love it now and this soap is one of my very favorites. Great woodsy unisex scent, lathers well, looks cool, and leaves my skin clean without stripping.

This does not smell like cedar. I'm sure the quality of the soap is exceptional (I've ordered another scent to try). I used this "cedar" soap for this morning's shower and I still smell like a clove hours later (as I write this review). Not spouse approved either (she says I smell like a store that sells incense). The garbage will now smell like cloves until garbage day. I wish I could have ordered 1 bar instead of a minimum of 2.

Absolutely disgusting. I love the smell of cedar.this.... this DOES NOT Smell like cedar. It smells like clover. Never again will I buy from zum

Smells great, but it definitely has a strong spicy clove smell out of the wrapping. It's not bad, but it's not pure cedar.

Earthy woodsy yummy smelling,,,, Zum Bar take me away.I Love it ! I will buy again..

Strong scent but pleasant... could be cheaper.....
