Summary- good customer service- bit of friction in installation- Tuya app still needs polishing- great price compared to HueWhen I received this item initially, one of the bulbs did not work at all. When I raised this on my Amazon review, the sellers contacted me via email and sent out a replacement immediately.I installed this and now it works really well.My only gripe is with the Tuya app which is a wider Infrastructure issue - the bulb was only able to be detected when I used my TP-Link Wifi extender, and not my main BT Hub, so initial installation was not as 'plug and play's as you might like - and the Tuya app's widgets still don't seem to work very well.However, on this specific product alone, the price is great - buying a twin pack on promotion price is near enough what you'd pay for a normal bulb. And compared to the likes of Hue, I see this as a no-brainer in terms of cost, especially when you seek to kit out your whole house.

I had a wifi plug on my bedside light, so it could be turned on automatically or by Alexa command, but I wanted to be able to dim it too, so I first tried some INNR bulbs. These work like Hue bulbs, so need a Hue hub (which I don't have) or an Echo Plus, which I do. The bulbs paired up and functioned well, except that because they use the zigbee network rather than the wifi, they need to talk directly to the Echo, and my bedroom is a long way from where the Echo is, so the response to commands to Alexa was a bit hit and miss. On top of that, if you don't have a hue hub, you cannot do anything with the bulbs in IFTTT, because you can't make Alexa the target ("THAT") of an IFTTT routine.So I sent those back and tried these. Functionally they are just the same, the light is a pleasant warm glow, they are quite bright enough for a bedside light, and because they talk over the wifi, they will work anywhere in the house where the wifi signal is ok, as opposed to where the zigbee signal from the Echo is ok.The instructions tell you to download a Lohas app to get them going, but they will also talk happily to the "Smart Life" app which I already had for some other plugs. And because they are controlled via this app, which Alexa can communicate with via a skill, you can also select them as the target of an IFTTT routine too. So for me, much more reliable communication, and more control than the hue-lookalike gave me. Excellent.

These bulbs have been problematic from the day we bought them. Returned a faulty set and subsequently the bulbs we had have started to flickering within 2months of having them and now just 9 months in use the bulbs have started to flash on off. The bulbs also produce huge amounts of heat that was not expected from LED bulbs....the bulb that flickers has started to really overheat. Having to replace the lot with a new brand. Same price but much better quality, from set up to performance in use and operating much cooler. I really question the safety rating of the electronics and quality of the product. Should have returned them from day one when even the WiFi connection was hit and miss. Really disappointed, especially now that we have used a differe brand that out perform for the same price.

Great bulbs, my only improvement would be a slightly dimmer bottom level but still fine as they are. Easy to connect via smart life auto setup too, those of you with BT Hub’s you will have a problem with a lot of devices like this as standard but if you separate your 2.4/5Ghz networks in the router config these should work fine.

After 8 months the lights developed a flicker and now no longer work.

Installing was easy enough. Found it tricky with three bulbs on one lap. When I click 'create group' in the app (which is a good app otherwise, nothing happens. Annoying, since again, I have three bulbs on one light. Integrated with Alexa, which is useful. Early days, recently received so I've probably jinxed myself now. Good value for money in the grand scheme of things. Inoperable group function frustrating though.

These are easy to set up, less than 10 minutes for both and work great in my wall light which lights up our stairs. Also can be dimmed when required. Really good light bulbs.

I bought these for our bedside lights. It took a little longer to connect than I thought it would but once connected to the TuyaSnart app the bulbs worked fine. I have then linked to Google home and set up routines so that we can start both or just one. Like being able to control the brightness. My WiFi broadcast on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. I found turning off the 5 GHz whilst I connected works best
