North Low Maintenance Half Mask Respirator Small, filters sold separately

I work in healthcare and got it to wear to work when my hospital started reusing PPE. I did get fit tested and passed. The mask is light weight and does a great job. My only problem was I am allergic to the material. My face would turn red and welt where the rubber part of the mask touches my face. This would happen whether I wore it for an hour or the whole 12 shift. Eventually it ended up bruising my face and left burn marks. I put a barrier (tegaderm, duoderm, etc) between my face and the mask which helped. Before you ask, no the mask wasn’t on too tight. I usually would put the mask on loosely just to have it on to get through hospital entry checkpoint and go straight to the bathroom to put on the skin barrier and my face would be red and swollen within the 5 minute walk from the car. My skin is just too sensitive for this mask but I do recommend it for those who aren’t as sensitive. My friend and boyfriend wear theirs with no problem.

I work in Emergency Services and am required to use at least an N-95 during this pandemic. After wearing the N-95 for months during the crisis -- and not being able to breathe -- I decided to get a ½ mask respirator. What a difference. I CAN BREATHE NOW!! I'm able, with very little difficulty, to communicate with my patients, co-workers or other work partners. Great product.

The only thing wrong with the two respirators I received was that they were both size Small. Lucky for me I have two adolescent kids who had no problem making use of them. Especially when the massive forest fires made the air here in Oregon unbreathable for nearly a week.

Seems to work just fine but it has a very strong smell, even after washing with soap and warm water.

I loved this mask initially after being fit tested with a sample North mask at my job as a Registered Nurse working directly with COVID ICU patients. I was undecided and then decided to take a chance and purchase one on amazon. I felt a false sense of reassurance being that I was tested with the same exact mask, same exact size and filters a few weeks prior until I got a second fit test after receiving the mask and I failed miserably. I’m not sure if this is an imitation or fake mask but it definitely is not the same type of quality of North mask that was offered to me in the hospital setting. This mask offers me no protection and I’m glad I was able to get a fit test to prove it. I ended up throwing it away. Buyer beware especially if you work in the health care setting. Get a fit test! That won’t lie!

We are required to wear for dental work. It is more comfortable than one would think

The mask is very small, as if it were made for a child.
