Lambert's is a great company and these cookies did not disappoint. They were fresh and the gingerbread was soft and just the right amount of spice! The chocolate was the prefect amount of coating. Buying these in a store is fine, but you may not get the freshness from buying from Amazon. If you like gingerbread, you'll love these cookies!

Almost wished I had ordered more of them.Everyone loved them and I was back in my childhood Christmas heaven

I found the cookies large,fresh even though imported and had longer shelf time than many cookies, Perfect for decorating tree, etc by using ribbon to hand. The large( 3" ?) size made up for less quantity of cookies (12). Authentic German Lebkuchen! Wish I had had 15 cookies. I ordered 2 boxes to balance the quantity. Would want 2-3 boxes if using on holiday tree. Came in good time, arrived in perfect condition. A bit pricy, but imported.

As I expressed in a previous review: Excellent product. Therefore much to tempting to keep in the house. For us it is a Christmas tradition and everybody loves them.

These cookies are the best in the world for that old world flavor of gingerbread!! German bakers just know what it takes.
