Literally bang for your Buck.
I bought a pair for my back deck I wanted something loud but not expensive. I have a pair of klipsch in my living room that costs 3-4 times more I’m comparing to and the jamo do great not nearly as good as the klipsch but I can’t expect that. They weigh about half as much so enclosure quality isn’t as good the tweeter is fine but not as loud and high and mid and bass is less but it’s not fair to expect equal. It is however very clear sounding and offers fair amount of volume without distortion mid and bass are very adequate I don’t believe for the price you can get better. I’m very happy with my purchase

Look and sound more expensive than they are
The S 807’s sound great right out of the box, even before break-in. Ideal for rock or pop.... the sound is lively and forward. Plenty of bass.... no subwoofer is needed for a 2-channel stereo setup. Also please note the front-firing ports that allow placement close to the wall behind without creating boominess. This is a major benefit. The speakers are well constructed, attractively simple matte black cabinets. No fake wood-grain nonsense. They are quite heavy and very stable on their screw-in feet with pads that won’t damage bare floors. I will update my review if the sound evolves after break-in. Perhaps vocals and classical strings will smooth out a little? However the 807’s are very fun and satisfying right now, and a solid value.

Great price but
#1. These 807s were about $80 cheaper than the very popular Crutch***** online store I almost bought the 805s from for $199 delivered, these were $199 delivered. They DID NOT come double boxed, as that retailer often brags about, and when I unboxed them, one had damage on a corner at back left. Yes, return policy says I could return and replace, but I just don't want the hassle of boxing up, lugging them to a return place, waiting for a new set, etc. Lazy ? I guess. Truth is, if you don't know the damage is there, you'll never see or notice it. And, saving $80, I can forgive a little scrape. I guess. Now, the sound.I still listen to the classic rock of my HS years, The Doors, Led Zep (early) Stones, etc. Also some Tower of Power, Boney James, Rick Braun, Bob Baldwin, Box Scaggs (the blusey stuff) Popa Chubby, Jackson Brown.I have a Yamaha R-S202 2 channel receiver I bought because of the bluetooth connection. I use my last used Android phone (Samsung S20) to stream music from Amazon Music, Pandora and 45 GB of MP3s that I copied over to it. Our Living Room\Dining Room combination is 14x28 feet, split in about the middle by our couch, so we sit 14 feet from the speakers and TV. I was using some vintage Boston Accoustic A150 3 way floor standing speakers that were in great shape, and I thought put out pretty good sound. The Bostons were OK when listening to most CDs on the player, but not for some CDs or other sources. I decided I wanted something newer for speakers, and was looking at these for months on that other retailer. Most reviews are good for these, but a couple call them horrendous, especially one individual using charts, graphs, and science. Well, I'm no scientist, or professional audio reviewer, but can tell you, I hear things in my music now those old speakers just never reproduced. All sounds great now, mp3, streaming, CDs on the player, everything sounds good, the living room looks better, and I couldn't be happier. If only they didn't have that little scratch back there that nobody will ever see.....

I love the value this give!
I got these 4 years ago and I have not thought about upgrading once. They are easy to set up and provide great soud for the value. I would only change my set up based off size these are towers.

Great audio quality for the price
These Jamo's are awsome. Paired with a yamaha R-s202 amplifier, they just rock. Minimal distortion, and a very full sound. I have several complaints however. First, they package these horribly, almost no padding. Mine came banged up. Fortunately Amazon partially refunded me, but it shouldn't have happened in the first place. Second, the materials of the sterio cabinets look good from 10 feet away, but look cheap the closer you get. These aren't audiophile speakers, but they impress everyone who hears them. One final thought, because of these speakers tapered shape (big in the back, narrower in the front), they have a somewhat narrow dispersal pattern. It's hardly a deal breaker, but if your looking to fill a large room, you might want a second set. I do! :-D
