This book is a God-send for the lay person who is trying to understand the intricacies of brain function and brain disorders. Written in easy-to-understand, yet thorough and complete language, it is my hope that it will help me to understand the behind-the-scenes causes of the seizures and related health issues that my dear elderly Mom is experiencing. As a caregiver, I need a book like this to enlighten me and educate me as I care for her, and as I communicate with her physicians.
