This is my second one
my first purchase lasted about 2.5 years and the battery gave up. For the cost, it was worth it. I use this everywhere.When I empty it, I clean the filter with a $1 brush I got from the dollar store. I never had to replace the filter.If the battery should die while you are using it, you MUST remember to shut the on/off switch off. If you forget and charge the battery with the with switch on, you will ruin the battery. The newer models have a switch that you must hold on with your thumb so this can't happen. I also have one of these but I do not like having to constantly hold on the switch on while I am using it.I really do think this is a good deal for about $31.00.

It’s a good little vacuum, compatible with parts from the older model. I took off a star because mine came from the Amazon Warehouse full of somebody else’s hair. That’s “Used, Like New” for you.

Bought renewed
They said it was inspected and only the box was damaged looks like no one inspected it. Canister was cracked got lucky though my old one had a dead battery but canister was good happened to be same one .

Long battery power and good suction
This is a nice machine. The charged battery lasts longer than I would expect. The suction is strong. My only complaint is that it does not have any place to store the 2 attachments. My last Dustbuster had on-board slots to store them. They will probably end up getting lost. Otherwise a good product

Has great suction and battery life
This is a nice little vaccum i do lyft so i need a cordless vac to clean my car after it has pretty good suction it picked up my dogs and the battery lasted enough to vaccum my midside sedan the filter comes out easy andEmptying this is a breeze i also bought the refurbished one

Makes me wanna clean!
Works great! Only real complaint is that the battery really doesn't last long at all, but for quick spurts of cleaning this thing is da bomb.

Excellent little vacuum.
So this little guy works really well in my camper, its easy to use, easy to empty and I've not had to change the filter yet - just clean it.But . . . It needs a bit of a redesign on the wings of the waste canister, as one is almost cracked all the way through and the other side has a small fracture starting in the same spot. And oddly enough this hasn't been used more than about 5-10 times before.

Gross !
After seeing a favorable Consumer Reports article on Black & Decker hand vacs, I decided to buy this. There were three options to buy: New, Returned, or Renewed. I opted for renewed, but what I got was returned. The previous purchaser had used it quite a bit and then sent it back without bothering to empty it or clean it and Amazon never bothered to look at it. It was filled with dust, dirt and a lot of what appeared to be dog hair.
