Killeen

I would highly recommend this book to history buffs in central Texas. It is written in a very interesting way and includes pictures of important scenes from the past. It met my need to read about the history of some of my ancestors who lived in this area around 1885 and preached the first sermon at Nolanville Encampment.

Great for teaching local history.

I was more interested in the historic back ground of Killeen. Pictures are nice but I needed Historic Backgrounds.Really does nothing to be really historic.
