Jamo Klipsch S 808 SUB Walnut NA

Finally took the plunge to get away from a sound bar.Receiver the Jamo 5 pc home theater for Father’s Day. Two 801, 2 803’s and a center. System works well and sounds so much better than a sound bar, but needed a subStayed with Jamo, love the look they have, nicely built, good warranty and reasonably pricedThe sub really surprised me, still don’t have the cross over set where I want it, but wow what a difference.My room is small about 12’ x 15’, with 7’ ceiling and carpet.For the price, build quality, sound, boom no way you can beat this sub.Honestly you could spend a lot more, but why?

I was a little hesitant to purchase this small 8 inch sub as the price might be too good to be true or good? It's cheaper here on Amazon as compared to Crutchfield and for the value it's a very good deal. The build quality is good and design is nice or retro (I have the walnut). This sub fits perfectly in my office and is unobtrusive in the corner of my office. I have a section in my office setup as an audiophile sound room with a Peachtree Nova300, Pro-Ject X9 turntable, and KEF LS50 speakers. I wanted a little bass for my music and this small sub does the job. Very nice sounding, smooth, not overly booming or loud (you can adjust to very loud if you want). I think for the money and value, you don't need a SVS or Rel sub-woofer for a small room. Especially if you don't need all that booming. Plus the Jamo. it's a well thought out design and fits my listening check box. I highly recommend this product and say don't spend more if your really don't need it. I almost did, but I'm happy with this product.

I needed a fairly slim subwoofer to go under my desk in my office. I just needed something to add a bit of oomph to the speakers in my office (Wharfedale Diamond 220s) and this fit the bill. It's not outstanding, but I knew that already buying into it. The subwoofer's price should be all the confirmation of expectations you need.That said, I'm happy with it, does exactly what I needed and what I bought it for, without shaking the place down, just deepening the low end from my speakers. For the money (a bit over $100) it's perfectly fine, no complaints, and its small size and more vertical design suits the space I placed it in.

- Fits right under my desk- Has enough power to shake the floor at only 1/4 volume, I dare not turn it higher as I live in an apartment- Works perfectly with a 3.5mm converter (it only comes with a mono-RCA cable) getting signal out of the subwoofer port on my PC- Pairs extremely nicely with my Edifier bookends (same Walnut/Grey aesthetic too!) which have great range but lacked low end- Nice ability to adjust the low passSeriously though this will put out some incredible bass!

I like my flat, non resonant music as the artist intended. When adding a subwoofer to my ancient Yamaha NS244s I wanted to keep that separation. Took me a minute but I got it dialed in and it sounds amazing. Very clear and even at low volume levels, my system has never sounded better. Hint: setup to dial in by listening then put it where you want it.

I bought some bookshelf speakers and when I turned them on, I knew immediately that they needed a subwoofer. I have a smaller space (the whole place is about 900 sqft.), so I knew I didn't need something that would blow the walls out, but wanted something to give that extra "oomph". This thing does the trick and FAR surpassed my expectations! The sound is awesome (it gives "omph" and THEN some!), it was super easy to set-up with my receiver, and I LOVE that it's white because it just kind of blends into my wall. BUY IT!!!!

This sub looks and sounds great. This was purchased as part of a budget system along with a Douk Audio T4 Pro, a Fosi Audio BT30D, and a pair of Jamo 801 bookshelf speakers. The bass is great from something this size and value.The built-in amp has plenty of adjustment so you can dial it in however you like, and it has a nice, big sound that can fill a good sized room.I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a nice budget subwoofer for home audio.

First time for me receiving a purchase from Amazon with some form of damage. Got this shipped thru a concierge service in US as Amazon seller don’t ship directly to Singapore. The concierge service takes a photo of the goods when it is received and send to customer prior to shipping, from then on i already seen a deformation on the packaging box where it’s obviously had a hard hit based on the dent at the side of the box, i attached here photo both when it was received at US and when i received it. I disregarded this thinking some foam may have protected the sub inside and proceed to send to me. I received the shipment today after 12 days in transit from Amazon to concierge to my place. i opened up the package, Lo and behold there is a small dent on the side where the box took a hit, photo attached.I don’t have the luxury of returning this since obvioisly i am too far away and the shipment gone thru another company, which i believe is not their fault based on photos when they receive from local courier in US. I just hope Amazon takes note of this and informs their courier services to handle the shipments with some care. The sub looks good with my setup and sound quality decent so this makes it more hard for me return it. The sub casing is sub par though, it’s like MDF material so it’s not as durable as real wood hence any dent like this would not look good. I just hope the dent do not peel off overtime, that would not be nice since the dent is at the front part of speaker. All in all good looking speakers, form factor is great which makes it easy to place anywhere. Only tried it once out of the box and sound seems decent together with my Dynaudios, i can live with it

Al principio tenia mis dudas acerca del tamaño a escoger. Finalmente me decidí por el de 8” y no me arrepiento, es más que suficiente para una sala de estar de 4x6m, con potencia al 50%. La estética es de 10, su diseño le permite mantener un perfil bajo y acomodarse de diversas maneras, con decir que mi esposa aún no le ha prestado atención. Yo lo tengo conectado a unas bocinas Klipcsh 400 tipo estudio y suenan espectacular. Los controles están escondidos en la parte de abajo lo cual hace su ajuste un poco incómodo pero una vez terminado te olvidas de ellos. Aunque tiene función de auto encendido, yo le agregué un switch externo para desconectarlo cuando no se ocupa, por aquello del ahorro energético.

If the item is shipped with its own packaging, the item may get damaged. The packaging was not enough to protect the subwoofer perfectly. The Styrofoam that protects the item cracked upon arrival. The item I received has a nick on the top corner. Luckily, it's not very visible and it didn't affect its functionality.I am using it as a sub for my desktop computer. Works great. I have the sub volume at ~60% which is sufficient enough to add punch and bass in my room. If I have to nitpick, one thing I don't like is the auto sleep mode function. Sometimes it goes to sleep when I have my computer volume level really low. Other that that I'm happy.

I bought this subwoofer mainly for its looks. I wanted something that would blend in with my hardwood flooring and not look like an eyesore subwoofer standing out from the rest of my furniture. However, I was surprised to hear the quality sound come from such a small woofer. Keep in mind I have a small living room. I wouldn’t recommend it for a pro set up. Maybe upgrade to the 10 in subwoofer. Regardless, I’m very happy with my buy.

Had been looking for a subwoofer that could be slim enough to fit into a corner next to our built-in cabinets. This is the only one that fits nicely and it also sound enough at mid volume levels. We connected to a Yamaha soundbar and had to experiment with the cross over settings a little bit but now it’s pretty much left alone to do it’s stuff, providing that extra bass depth as we watch our TV shows and movies daily.The build quality is good at this price point.
