Lovely kettle second we bought first was wobbly and abysmal. This is clean looking, smart, boils water well and is safe.

so far so good - decent priced but quite large, the kettle isn’t too noisy, it boils water really fast actually.The quality of both the kettle and toaster is good, and so far the energy consumption is okay.Products are good but quite bulky.

This is our third one of these. I suppose that does mean they only last about 2yrs but then we probably use it 5 times a day, at least. Having tried glass, stainless steel and other plastic kettles, this design seems perfect to me. The kettle lights up with a pleasing blue LED light so you know it is on. It is quick and not too noisy. It is a plastic finish and this means the outside of the kettle does not seem to get too hot. The level viewing window is clear enough and it is easy to see the water level. The kettle is easy to fill, either by flipping the lid or via the spout. It pours well. The only downside is that the fine plastic mesh filter on the spout does break after a while but you can get replacements and I think the same problem applies to all kettles unless of course they do not have a filter at all.Stainless steel kettles get too hot I think. Glass kettles look good but they also get hot and are heavy and if you live in a hard water area then the water just looks horrible anyway. Stainless and glass kettles are also more expensive so you pay more for a less good outcome in my opinion.Some kettles I have bought had a strange taste to the water. This kettle does not.Also, this one really looks quite smart although beauty is of course in the eye of the beholder.

I don't even know when I bought this kettle - probably years ago, and definitely before the global pandemic - but I bought it for my parents when they needed some new kitchen appliances, and it's outlasted a microwave, a pressure cooker, an air fryer, and my dad.It's dutifully boiled the equivalent of the Atlantic Ocean without complaint, being used every day, at all times, to make cups of tea and coffee, pans on the hob, to clean drains, nervously defrost windows in a hurry, remove stains from tupperware, and alleviate allergies during hot summer nights.It's handled being cleaned and de-scaled a few times, and the plastic is holding up well without any signs of degrading/flaking. The LED still works, despite all the condensation over the years, and the little bit-catcher also still slides in and out as needed.It boils quickly and relatively quietly, has an auto-off, and doesn't dribble everywhere. It also slots onto the base easily, meaning you can spin the kettle round while you're waiting for it to boil, as every sensible person does. This does make it easy to use, and is useful for people with mobility issues or reduced strength in their arms; it can be lifted slightly, slid across a surface with little resistance due to the lack of protrusions, and filled under a tap.Need a kettle? Unless you're prone to being drawn in by prestige pricing, I can't see why you'd spend any more than this. Is your electro-thermically heated water superior to mine? Not at this value.

It boils water... What more can you ask for. It's not slow, it looks nice, it's not totally loud. Yeah, it's a good kettle.

My only concern was that it was wired for UK voltage not USA voltage, I had to spend more money for an adapter to be able to use it.

A good kettle but it arrived woth a UK plug and not Australian

I had a Russell Hobbs kettle before, it was stainless steel and lasted over 10 years. I bought this product and when it arrived the plug was designed for UK socket so i had additional cost for an adapter. Stainless steel highlights meant just the base. The product is plastic. I gave it a 3 because i am not sure of product life. Its a wait and see.
