This was for my mom; she has failing sight due to macular degeneration.This has been extremely helpful with very bright illumination with a large magnifying glass. LED encircles the entire glass area making much easy to use. She is very happy with this item and it has made reading much less frustrating!

I liked how compact the product was. I also liked the addition of the LED light. However, the glass was slightly chipped which made it difficult to see accurately. I returned this product and will continue looking for a better loupe.

This item is a low quality import (not all imported items are low quality, but this one is cheap). The white LED's functioned and seemed bright, but the blue UV light is only from one single low intensity LED. The one I received did not function properly. The UV light only flickered if you touched the LED directly, but was basically dead on arrival. Returning this ASAP. If you buy this kind of stuff, make sure you check it out as soon as you receive it to make sure it works correctly.
