Phone works as it is supposed to.

I had trouble provisioning this device. Per my question and the seller's answer:Q: This phone came with custom "Fonality" firmware that is locked and it cannot be used on any other phone system. How to remove this firmware?A: I am assuming that the MAC address was not registered with your provider and the phone was plugged into the internet. It will find its old provider. First the MAC address MUST be registered with your provider. Once you register the MAC - perform a factory default on the phone. The phone should find your new provider. If not - add the provisioning server for your service provider into the phone and the phone will self provision once it finds your new provider. It is a very simple process.My be simple, but simply didn't work. MAC address is registered with our provider and in our account. Did the factory default restore. Attempted to update firmware - will not take. Attempted auto provisioning and also "assisted" provisioning (yes have provisioning server of our provider in the device settings), both fail. Had our provider's tech support try as well without success.A search of Yealink discussion forums reveals that the custom Fonality firmware is indeed an issue, I am waiting on a response directly from Yealink tech support. Until a solution is offered, a Yealink device with Fonality firmware 52.80.181.1 is a brick.

I have three of these phones for the office and shop. They work great. Easy to use and sound is great all around for the price.

Phone continuously reboots. For the short 15 seconds that I can log in, also saw it had custom firmware on it as well. Obviously no QA happening. Returned.
