Works perfect, five minute install
I have had this door for 12 years without a key lock, took five minutes to install and works perfectly. Shipping was fast and packaging was great

Very difficult to install
Lock had obvious scratches on it. Many hours put into attempting to install it, not yet successful, so cannot say pleased with purchase for reasons of its less than perfect condition and the difficulty installing it.

Keys
Disappointed that only 2 keys were with the lock. Need 4 and cannot find a way to get more keys made.

It worked but some modification
The center hardened steel flat bar was not long enough to engage both the lock assembly and the inside lever. I was lucky to have an old Schlage deadbolt and robbed the longer bar out of it. I had to cut a little off though. And the thickness is just a little thinner that the original. All in all it worked well. One thing that is annoying is the plastic pin that strikes the stationary plate. If the door is not opened wide enough and one passes through quickly as my heroin addicted son would do, it could shear off.

Super easy to install
To replace your existing outside key lock, you just need to loosen the two screws on the inside by the latch, take off the old assembly and put the screws back in. Took 2 minutes and works pergectly.

Installed on an existing Anderson Tribecca lock
I used this item to add keyed lock functionality to an existing door with a Tribecca lock already installed. It was an easy installation. I drilled through to the exterrior from inside to line up the hardware and it bolted right on. I just had to replace the interior thumb switch because the original installer cut the locking tab short so that it didn't penetrate the door.

Great to be able to lock my Andersen door from the outside
I bought this to add to a 400 series French sliding door that only had an interior latch since installation in the early 1990’s. I did what the instructions called for and drilled the 3 holes. Within 15 minutes I had a exterior locking door. It looks great too! The only issue I have is that the lock uses a key that is not a standard house key. After a few visits to different hardware stores I was able to make a few spares to add to the two which came with the lock.
