I purchased this for my 4 yr old granddaughter and it is just beautiful! I sew quite a bit and am very particular about the quality of fabric and workmanship of garments. I must say that the fabric is very nice, not the typical "costume" fabric that falls apart after Halloween. The construction of the dress is very professional and well done. It was delivered in a nice plastic dress bag. The directions for care says hand wash and I have a newer washer that I think will be fine on hand wash cycle and drip dry. It is a surprise for my granddaughter so I have not tried it on her yet but it seems it will fit her great with a little room to grow. I ordered size small..I know she will be thrilled with this! We are going on cruise in a few weeks and I plan to give it to her to wear on formal night dining. I am going to bring a needle and thread with me in case it is a little long. She will love this, it has all her necessary components, princess, glittery, big skirt (hoop is great) and above all PINK!!!! Thank you for a quality product, I know will do more business in the future.

This review is mostly about the fit of the product on a 3t child.We were very pleased when we received the dress. It looks exactly like the picture except the hoops inside made it a little weird and it still touched the ground so we removed them. We chose the smallest one for my 34.5 inch 28lb 3yo and bought a separate hoop skirt. The hoop skirt definitely helped keep it off the ground unless she bent over and stepped on it. She did have to lift the front of the dress/hoop to walk. The shoulders were the biggest part and so we'll have to pin it together temporarily for trick or treating. So far it has endured a trunk or treat and a zoo boo having accidentally been stepped on a few times. She looked fantastic and was complemented quite a bit! The dress is well made and will last as a play dress for quite some time. It doesn't seem itchy at all. I will definitely look into other costumes from Forum Novelties!For references the picture inside the house is when we first received the dress, before we removed the hoops. The picture behind the car is after her first trunk or treat and the picture sitting down was at the zoo boo. Both of those have an external hoop skirt from AMJ Dresses Inc.

I got this for my daughter who is a bit on the petite side, but it actually fit pretty well. I went by the size suggestion and bought a size small. She is around 38" tall when she had this on and it's floor length, but not really touching the floor. I think the petticoat helped also. It was a bit loose, but it worked out well. My daughter loved dressing up as a princess for the day! The only problem with this dress is the underskirt comes with 2 hoops, which sticks out so you can see very clearly that there are hoops underneath the dress to make it flare out (one around the middle of the skirt and one at the bottom. I ended up removing the top hoop and purchasing a petticoat through Chasing Fireflies for her to wear beneath the dress; it makes the dress flare out more naturally. I left the bottom hoop in and I'm thinking I probably should've removed that hoop also as you can still see the outline of the hoop at the bottom of the dress in the picture attached. Overall though, it was a great buy. The fabric is nice, soft and not itchy. My daughter loved it and we received many compliments on the dress.
