Great!
My LCD replacement arrived promptly and without a blemish! Had a nice protective material taped over the screen to prevent scratches and such. I read where some of these screens have 2 hookups in the back so I made sure to take my old LCD out and crosscheck the numbers on the back with the one I was purchasing to make sure it was compatible with my laptop. Turns out mine had only one! Took no time at all to get this replacement LCD hooked up and ready to go! I've had it over a month and still works like a charm. This was my 1st time ever trying to replace a laptop LCD. I would recommend this to anyone who has a non working screen due to dropping it or somehow damaging it and isn't sure if they can replace it by themselves. Just watch a YouTube video tutorial and you'll have no problems!

Great Screen and a Great Company
This screen looks great and was easy to install. Make sure you take your laptop apart and verify that you are ordering the correct screen. There are many youtube videos that will show you how to do it. I'm so pleased with this screen as well as the company that sent it. They actually sent me a troubleshooting guide before they sent the screen just to make sure that I actually needed the screen in the first place. If you're having issues with your screen you may want to replace the cable first, and if that doesn't take care of it then order the screen. Make sure you have tested your video card by hooking up an external monitor to verify that your video card is not to blame.

Screen works great..small differences between original and this
The screen came packed very well, no damage. The only thing I noticed between this screen and my original factory screen was the absence of plastic (or maybe it was metal?) encasement around the perimeter of the screen that makes it slightly thinner than the original. And I'm talking like 1/16", so not significant. But when you are installing it you can tell that there is a slight difference/gap when you are screwing the laptop case back together over the screen. It still fits and you can't tell once the entire laptop is assembled, but it may make some people worry that it's not the right screen. It is. The holes match up and the screen it totally compatible assuming you purchased the correct screen for your laptop..which I did :-)This is the second repair I have had to do on this laptop (first was a replacement power jack board). These are surprisingly (or maybe it isn't that surprising considering the craftmanship) easy to disassemble and put back together. Lots of tutorials on youtube. Replacing the screen isn't hard and if the computer is in good shape otherwise, this is definitely a better option than buying an entire new computer.

It works great, colors are great
I received the LCD screen quickly. It took only a few min to install, pop off the plastic piece around the screen, I had to reuse the metal brackets from the original screen, unplugged the broken screen and plugged in the new one. It works great, colors are great. Dell wanted 300.00 for parts and labor to replace the screen, and I did it for 50.00 and 10 min of my time.

Bought for Dell 1545 Laptop
I purchased to replace cracked screen. I have 12 years of experience w/ computers/networking & bachelors in electronic system technology. 3 months now, a lot of forums and I'm still trying to get this screen to work properly in my Inspiron 1545... Only way to see screen is hold a light up to it. Let me say though I'm not 100% sure YET that something else in the laptop isn't causing the problem. Many forums say you must replace with the exact brand & model of factory screen but Dell even sends SOME replacements that don't work. Depends on the brand I guess. Read forums and make sure you do/don't need a new inverter or a new backlight if equipped. Some replacement screens come w/ both as a kit. Good Luck

This replacement screen works great and was a really great price
This replacement screen works great and was a really great price. Definitely worth replacing a broken screen instead of replacing the whole laptop. While I hope you never need this product it's a great one if you do.

Not the correct screen
This screen didn't with my Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop, even though it advertises it in the description. I didn't know what model number my old cracked screen was, so I had to wait until the technician was able to dismantle it i.e. after I purchased this. Apparently the prongs were too small for my laptop so I sent this back.

Not a Replacement for Part Number B156XW##
This was the wrong screen for the laptop -- I double checked when I got it that it was not a mistake ordering on my part. There are 2 types of screens for the Dell Inspiron 1545. The listing shows the part number that I needed, but the product does not equate to that part number. I would have given 1 star, except the Amazon rep was extremely helpful when I called.
