Fits kia
Fits our 2019 kia Sorento. Strapped a car top carrier to it for a 4 hour trip, held well.

I’m hopeful…
Looks good, and feels secure. Wind noise is noticeable (especially when you’ve been driving the truck without it for a while), but not terrible. My only concern is the plastic where the bars attach to the side rails. I wish that there was a better way to tell when to stop screwing the clamps onto the side rails. I went too far on the right rear side. Hopefully this won’t affect the bar’s stability (and hopefully I’ll never find out otherwise). I DEFINITELY don’t want to take it off now, for fear that the rear bar won’t go back on securely (but I was planning to leave them on anyway). I’m satisfied for now, and I’ll update my review if that changes.

My detailed review
For the price of $99 when on sale , its better than kia dealer price. Missing the weight limit sticker but did have stickers and embedded L and R letters and arrows so you know which direction and whether its front or rear bar. Instructions included. Pro: these are the ones you want compared to any other simply because the kia roof bars have holes to hold the crossbars from sliding due to weight or high speed. Other sellers don’t offer a pinhole clamp. Their’s just grip your roof rails by pressure only. Think of a C clamp on a 2x4. The brightline not only grip the outer side of the roof rails by pressure only but the inside clamp has a pin that goes into the kia roof rail holes and holds it at that location, thus it will not slide off your roof. The cons, like someone said when you use the hex tool to screw in the clamp and/or the end pieces to the center aluminum. Do it slowly so you don’t strip the bolt or break the end piece. The end piece are just heavy duty plastic. The end pieces don’t sit in the rails very snug. You have to use pressure to get a close enough seal with the roof rail. There is no key lock but then these crossbars only work on roof rails with holes. Only the inner pin clamp is metal with a rubber cover. I wish the end pieces had metal under the plastic to make it very strong. As with other crossbars, you should always check ALL the hex bolts to make sure none became loose every now and then especially after tying cargo to the crossbars.

Nice crossrails
Fit perfectly on my 2020 Sorento. Easy install and very solid once tightened down. Have hauled my kayak a few times with ease. They don’t seem to make any noise either, even at highway speeds.

Good value for money
Given the cost and ease of installation as well as the overall construction, I'm going to give these bars a 5 star rating. That said, I've only just installed them and haven't truly put them to the test that could change with ski season on the horizon.OEM cross bars cost almost 3x as much, I'm sure they are nice and all but given the typical use that these will see (skis and maybe a sheet of plywood) I couldn't in all budgetary conscious pay OEM prices for something I won't use often or load up with a cargo box (I have a sweet Thule trailer for hauling gear).Installation was relatively easy, main thing: RTFI first and follow them. The most difficult part was tightening up the screws on the one side that snug up the bar after you've got the feet clamps attached and holding and the bars are tightly sized . They are underneath and require some patience to tighten due to not be able to see the drive of the screw head. Other than that it was smooth going, oh and remove the plastic wrap before installing lol (no, I did not make that mistake :p).After hand tightening the screws (and while it isn't mentioned, I wouldn't torque the crap out of these either and check them after a first haul as well - carry the supplied allen wrench in the glovebox...), the bars felt secure and study with little to no movement in any direction, so at this point I'm eager for the snow to commence ;-)

Requires a delicate touch
So, to start off the product fits my 2016 Sorento perfectly. Installation is not difficult but can be problematic. To accommodate the flaws in manufacturing this it what has worked for me:Wipe down the surface of your vehicle where this rack in make contact. I used rubbing alcohol. Allow to dry.Removed screws on the rail one at a time and added thread lock to each screw. For the end cap screws it is extremely easy to over tighten and damage the plastic mounting location. I held the ends firmly in place and tightened until snug. Then I turned an additional quarter turn.I recommend having some help with the install and be sure to loosen the screw on the end caps. If you don’t open these wide before attempting your install, it is very each to scratch the rail on top of your vehicle.

Great product for the money, work flawlessly
I was originally skeptical about these but after reading the existing reviews & doing more research, decided to give them a try. Installed these on our 2020 Kia Sorento & left about two hours later for an 1,100 mile round trip. I had no additional road noise with the bars only & no additional road noise when the luggage carrier was loaded up. The only time we heard additional road noise was when the luggage carrier was on the roof with nothing in it. I had NO problems with any plastic pieces, like other folks have mentioned. When you snug them tight to the side rails, and don’t crank them down, they were fine. Overall I would highly recommend

Wow! These are great
I had a set of round bar Yakima roof racks on my Sorento. And they were too low to the roof. I was going to get the factory ones, but at $300 for the pair, these fit the bill PERFECT.Yes, they do have a pin that goes into the factory holes in the roof rails that run down the car. Once you tighten the screw to hold it in place, they do NOT MOVE.They are shaped like an airplane wing so wind noise should be minimal. I will update if that is not the case. The aluminum feels great. The towers are made of plastic but do NOT feel cheap at all. Overall I believe them to be a great value.

Product defect. Buyer beware.
Huge defect. Beware!I received this item after the return window... I didn't bother opening it up as there was no return option, so I waited and finally got a nice enough day to install them and they are defective.Upon tightening the clamp pin, the bolt separated from the plastic with barely any force at all.. a few spins of the wrench and it broke through.2 of the 4 clamps did the same thing.Seller was contacted and refused any assistance or support. Same your money and order a higher quality system with a seller that will stand by their product.
