PIAA Si-Tech Wiper Blade Kit for MINIs | Set of 2 Blades | High Performance Wiper Blades

I’ve used these wipers on both a 2018 and 2020 Model 3. They were quite easy to install (match up the included adapter and they just click into place).I’ve had them installed for about 4 years now and just recently came back here to order a replacement pair and figured I’d leave a review.When installing, make sure to clean the windshield thoroughly and use the included prep wipes after it’s clean. That will give you a good hydrophobic surface to start with and then the silicone will keep it that way.The wiping quality really is incredible. There’s no noise or streaking and I’ve rarely heard them chatter in abnormal circumstances. One of my favorite things is that all of the accumulated bugs and grime are wiped off when there is a good rain. I seriously look forward to wet drives because I know my windshield will be clean and clear afterwards. Plus, if you’re driving at highway speeds then the water beads off naturally and you won’t need to wipe as frequently.I’ve never had any streaking or fogging problems, or any other problems with these really. I really only have positive things to say about these and will be buying them again and again. Like I said at the beginning, this pair lasted me about 4 years before their wiping performance degraded. That’s a pretty solid lifespan compared to rubber wipers!

Installed PIAA Si-Tech onto 2021 Model Y.Installation was easy and hassle-free.Followed instruction guide exactly including a careful cleaning of the windscreen glass and application of the included kit lubricant.NOTE: Passenger side wiper is ~1 inch/2.54cm larger than OEM size resulting in poor edge wiping and inconsistent parking position for passenger wiper.After installation, repeatedly noticed that the driver-side wiper would chatter and bounce in misty, marginal, rain conditions. This was never a problem with OEM wipers.In general, both passenger and driver wipers make a lot more noise in rainy conditions as the wipers reverse making driving experience less enjoyable.Waited too long to return, so trashed these PIAA wipers and instead located and installed the Tesla OEM wipers (likely a Bosch blade) and those worked perfectly with minimal noise, no chattering or skipping and did not require careful preparation of windscreen surface.

I use PAI wipers on my Chevy suburban and they work great and last a long time even in Texas heat this summer. I bought these for my daughters tesla and they fit and work great but the cost of these wipers are sky high on Amazon. Could find them anywhere else. I buy my Chevy wipers at Tirerack.com that come with refills once you buy the main wipers (Old school way, but along cheaper that and entire wiper in the long run).

I often hold my breath when I need to change my wiper blades. It's supposed to be so simple and easy to do. But many times I'm surprised that the mounting bracket that fits my car didn't look like the one I just took off, and worse, it has parts or tabs sticking out that just don't look good. So I was very happy to see that the PIAA blades came pre-configured for my car. The fit is perfect and the clean look is like the OEM blades. Naturally they work perfectly and I'm very happy with my purchase.

This Model Y kit is 26 inch driver side (correct) + 20 inch passenger side (incorrect). The passenger side is an inch too long and gets caught on outer edge of front windshield. It should include a 19 inch passenger blade.

I bought a new 22’ MYP and the stock wipers left horrible streaks.. Tesla said to clean the wipers.. like I have never owned a car before. Anyways, I discovered this brand through Reddit, and it’s an American company. Extremely easy to install, and I followed the directions on how to prepare the windshield, before and after install. I am getting ever so slightly smaller streaks.. but these still leave streaks.. and not exaggerating, they actually move less water than the stock Tesla wipers. So if you are looking for an “upgrade” I wouldn’t purchase these. They are literally the same, not worse. Stick with Bosch or RainX. Half the price and more than likely overall a better product

This is the second time I’ve bought these. They last about a year, and tend to perform better than other brands.

Easy install, why 1 star? Wipers hit the hood ever stroke, utter garbage.
