Epson T060520-VP DURABrite Ultra Value Pack for select Epson Stylus Printers

It is always a gamble to buy printer ink that does not come from a printer maker, such as Epson. However, the price paid for this ink makes the gamble worth it. This ink needs to have the print tips cleaned more often to print well. The ink does not last as long as Epson brand ink, but I am patient because the ink is so much cheaper. :-)

The quality of the ink appears to be excellent so far, however, my only disappointment is that the expiration date on the package is July, 2007! I have not experienced any printing problems thus far using this ink, maybe because it is vacuum-sealed. It would be helpful if the seller would indicate the expiration date and explain why the product would still function as well as expected.

Appears to be Epson, but package was a bit worn and banged up. Date on the package is April 2012, so not sure how well this 4-yr old ink is going to work. I will revise to 1-star if it fails (dries up) quickly...

Product was not packaged in box as shown in ad. Ink cartridge was packaged in a flimsy plastic bag not the usual EPSON heavy gage vacuum pack. This leads me to believe these are remanufactured not genuine EPSON products.

I like my Epson cx3800 printer for its print quality, and this ink makes for excellent text and photos. The electronics which inhibit your ability to refill the cartridges yourself vexes me however, and my next printer will most assuredly not have such anti-consumer components.

What can I say? Epson's DuraBrite ink is superior, but oy vey, it costs. I have no doubt that I have paid much more for ink than the original price of the printer, over its life.

Although the delivery was fast, I found that with each cartridge I used, the little piece of protection tape that needs to be removed before installing, was missing.I am unhappy at the thought that these were used cartridges, considering I paid $43.65.

I always have good luck with this item and have ordered in the past. It is so less expensive than buying it in the store. I will reorder again.
