SOL REPUBLIC 1307-34 Tracks ClearTalk Cable - Grey

Two years old love scissors. While normally mine is pretty responsible with them and only cuts paper, this time he had it out with my wife's headphone cord. Fortunately the headphones are only a material possession, the cable replaceable and amazon had them in stock and Prime. So far they have been great. i always like it when headphone makers have the cords as detachable like this. The wife is now happy again, and that is what matters, and she really likes the purple color too. Though I might need to be careful or I will be buying the purple headband part to match these cables. shhhh, don't tell her they exist!Now the scissors are stored up much higher and a two year old is prohibited from using them until a later time.

I bought the cable in purple to match my headband. This cable works great- does what it should, but as many other people had already mentioned, it does not come with volume control. For my cable, the control button and mic works perfectly so I can still use the headphone for music and phone. It works on both my apple and samsung gadgets, which is a bonus! On the box, the label states "Cable with Mic for tracks headphone". This is definitely slightly different from the original cable that comes with the Sol Republic Tracks. For that cable, it specifically states that the cable has a "three-button remote". Overall I still love this cable and for the price it's pretty reasonable. The best thing about the headphones from Sol Republic is that the cables can be easily replaced if damaged, so such an option is definitely a plus.

Simply put, I have had way too many wires go bad on my over the years. Having the ability to to simply buy new wires without replacing whole headphones has always been a pipe dream, until now. SOL makes reasonably priced over the ear cans that are durable enough for daily wear and tear, sound fantastic (read better than Beats), while also giving you the ability to easily replace parts that break. This company has got it down with their design team and sound engineers.If they could bring the price of the wires down, that would be nice. I only bought these because the default wire was an iPhone only compatible chord that didn't work with my Samsung Galaxy S3. Having to buy these on top of the headphones is not the best option in the world, but I guess the point is that you do have an option.

I love these headphones and have had them since Christmas four years ago and have had to replace the cord twice now. Although last time I got the right color cord (purple) this time I was sent a pink one even though I ordered purple. The outside packaging indicated that it was purple but for some reason, there was a pink cord inside. I'm not that bothered by it as I'll have to replace the cord in a year or two anyway, and it is only a two dollar difference, but it looks like someone wasn't paying attention when he or she was boxing the cord up.

Works great!! Everything is as expected. I first purchased these cable because my dog chewed through the original pair, so it was great to be able to find these on Amazon! I also enjoy being able to swap out the colors of the cables and the headphones. I got these cords for my pair of SOUL Republic V8 cans that I have. The inline speaker seems to work well. I have also used it with my Xbox one, and other players are able to hear me pretty well. But it also seems to pick up background noise in the game play. I have also used them in Skype sessions, and people have said that the microphone works well. The in-line volume control also works as advertised. I would definitely buy again.

Work great! Already have given an accidental hard yank on the cable and the skinny ones that got yanked are still just fine! My original ones got yanked a lot too, but what did it (hence me buying a replacement cable) was scooting forward in a chair over them -- that tore the thick part of the cable right open and ruined it.Minus one star for being ridiculously overpriced -- I decided to not risk one of the (surprisingly very few available) knockoff cables quality since it also wouldn't have the control button, even though it was half the price, and I wanted quick shipping.

I had to purchase another set of these cables for my tracks headphones. I appreciate being able to buy the cables separately as then I don't have to buy a new set of headphones. However, I have had to purchase a couple of extra sets of cables in the time I have owned my tracks headphones. If I added up the cost of the cables I have had to purchase to replace non working cables, I could have purchased a new set of headphones. That aside, the cables worked great. The mic and volume button in the middle is a great feature that many other cables just don't offer. I chose the purple which is my favorite color.

So luckily my headband is pink so I get the lower priced cord. the only drawback is that this doesn't seem to have the controls on the cord itself which is not that big of deal to me but that is the biggest difference I have seen between these and the original cord that came with my headphone. However I have to say that this is my third cord, I have burned through one with a curling iron and accidentally cut one on a metal edge at work so I bought two so I could have a backup. I am thankful that I can just replace the cord rather than having to replace the entire set of headphones so this is definitely a plus.

Bought another cable after i snapped the last one , when i had the headphones around my neck and i was climbing into my trampoline for some reason just procrastinating... and the wire dangled under my knee so when i pulled my head up the wire snapped , completely my fault , that was during July of 2015 and now i still have it and it works perfectly. would recommend!

They've broken with very moderate use within a month. I did notice the number of complaints was a little high but thought for someone who's extremely careful with things, that wouldn't be an issue.I also live in the UK which means I can't get the official ones so I had to go for these. Utter waste of money, now searching for a new pair of headphones.

I ordered these to replace the cables that came with the headphones originally. The old cables stopped working in one ear after about six months. The speakers were fine, just one side of the cable didn't carry sound, no matter which side it was plugged into. The same problem manifested in these ones within a week. Returned for refund.

Works fine as replacement for original cable which failed after one month. cannot now get one with a volume control, only pauses.

The SOL republic replacement cable was delivered in a suitable timeframe and was as expected.I am still using the cable so obviously it is of a reasonable standard
