Still waiting for these to air out, but otherwise great bags.

Purchased these burlap sacks to make tic tac toes for my Grandson's class at school. Perfect size, holds the hearts perfectly, but the burlap has this horrific smell. I've written the seller to try and figure out how to counteract it, i.e. white vinegar soak, or whatever, but no response yet. I'd like to know since I have tons more I'd like to do for St Patrick's Day and Easter, but not with that smell. I've had many burlap things before, but nothing that smells like this. Part could be the combination of the Sharpie used to make the lines, but all the rest is the burlap since the hearts don't smell at all.

I'm going to make an advent countdown gift. So, these bags will be handled two or three times to get them made and then at least that many times when they are being filled for the advent season. As well as the bags being sturdy, so is the cording that closes the top of the bag. And that's important because I am sure excited little hands will pull hard on the cords.
