Works like a charm in my Biocube 32
I have a 75 gallon reef tank with regular full size two chambers (GFO & carbon) and got this one for my new Biocube 32 nano tank & all I can say it works just like the full size, I dont really understand the negative reviews about it. If you are familiar with a regular full size one, you will see that it works just fine & super easy to setup. Great quality the materials. TIP: I replaced the sponges with the ones I use for for my regular tank just cut them (really bad the round shape but it works!)

The pump works great, nothing has broken
I have had no real problems with this reactor. The pump works great, nothing has broken, etc. It looks great too! The only issue is that there is no way to tell what the flow is while its inside the tank. Its not that big of a deal for me because mine is in a sump, but normally these go in all-in-one tanks where you wouldn't be able to see it. I use GFO in this and the sponges work just fine, but they do get clogged with the GFO and detritus pretty easily. I have to clean this piece of equipment more than anything else on my tank.

Stopped working
This started out to be quite successful. However, I'm giving a 1 since the pump stopped working less than two months of use. There has to be others out there that are more dependable.

Somewhat of a poor design for someone who needs to run the reactor ...
I use an Active Aqua AAPW160 to run this reactor. Its quieter and way more powerful than the stock pump. It does make the whole package taller, maybe 19" overall. My media is packed in and not allowed to tumble so i can flow way more than the stock pump can supply. I also used the extra sponges from innovative marine (ordered separately) to fill the extra space to hold my carbon GFO mixture. I had to use 2 zip ties slid between the outer casing and the inner media cartridge to keep the cartridge from floating out. Somewhat of a poor design for someone who needs to run the reactor submerged. The cartridge doesn't float out from what i can tell unless the reactor is submerged. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that zip ties are needed as a wedge to use this properly.

Very good Media reactor
I use it in a Nuvo 30G, I used the provided sponges to seperate the GFO from the activated Carbon. It is quiet, has a small foot print, easy to clean and keeps algae away from my tank.Perfect !

Great marketing... Horrible product
I am giving this reactor 2 stars because of looks alone. I have had nothing but problems with this reactor since I bought it.It seems at first you can easily remove the media basket, refill and place back in tank (like they do on their promotional video) WRONG. If you are using GFO you have to flush it first before placing back into the tank. In order to flush it you have to take the whole reactor out of tank, place it in a bucket of water and flush the GFO into the bucket. There is absolutely no way to know what the flow rate of the reactor is when the reactor is in the tank because you cannot see it. I had to mark the reactor with a paint pin along the edges of the reactor to be able to set the flow rate with the reactor in the tank. It is highly annoying to not know what the flow rate is, especially when using GFO.The sponges DO NOT keep GFO from escaping the reactor. You have to flush the GFO very hard before installing and then set the reactor to the lowest flow rate before placing the reactor in the tank. Then you have to creep the flow rate up over the next few days to get the GFO to tumble without GFO getting all over your tank.I have been running this reactor for about 2 months now and the pump just quit working. I have cleaned the pump after the first month and now at the second month it stopped working.Honestly I would avoid this reactor if at all possible. It fit great in my Innovative Marine 30 Nuvo, but if it doesn't work, it doesn't matter how good it looks.

Very nice!!
This is the only reactor I have ever owned but, it seems to be very nice. It is very quiet. The hardest part to deal with is getting the bottom sponges out. It isn't too bad though I use a butter knife. It looks good and works good. I highly recommend it.

Excellent Midsize Reactor, I've moved it over to my 55 gallon tank still works great.
Excellent reactor by Innovative Marine, it works just like the full-size reactor running "Rowa Phos" so far no issue. Only negative Part is the pump Power. This product is designed to run on (110-120V) 60Hz. if you are using in India have to get a voltage converter 220/240V to 110/120V which will cost you few bugs, or you can use any of your existing small pump which has the same capacity (Example: Boyu SP-1000 Power-8V or SP-1300 Power-9V) which fits perfectly with this reactor. I'm still happy with the way it works.
