Excellent quality, perfect for airplane carry-on, holds a lot of gear, comfortable shoulder strap.
First of all, great looks, great quality materials and construction. I have come to appreciate the quality and useful features of Think Tank products. The Retrospective line is very nice, I have this V30 and also the 15L backpack. Curiously, they are about the same size and shape, and both fit fine under the smallest airplane seat. I prefer the V30 for airplane travel because the laptop compartment is great - fits my big MacBook pro, and outside pockets are easy to get to with the bag on the floor in front of me. The shoulder strap is comfortable when carrying a full-frame, 24-70, 70-200, flash, and typical accessories. There are numerous useful storage pockets, and the included rain cover is a plus. Definitely recommend, this bag has become my favorite for every-day-carry, and for airplane travel.

Fantastic Bag
I needed a big, burly bag to fit a full-frame DSLR with grip and attached lens without deforming, and boy did I find one. This bag is LARGE. Build quality is top notch, I love the canvas material, it feels and looks very sturdy and (for now at least) rather elegant. The interior offers a myriad of organization options, and includes a laptop compartment in the rear along with what I assume is a tablet compartment in the front and multiple dividers. The description says it will fit 2 DSLRs with grips, but honestly I think that would make the bag unfeasibly heavy. My only gripe is the bottom of the bag is also canvas instead of some kind of abrasion-resistant synthetic fabric, which means it will suffer with abuse and also suck up moisture if you place it on a wet surface. Just something to pay attention to if you're rough on your bags. Overall a fantastic, heavy-duty bag.

A decent mid-sized bag with some compromises
I needed a bag that was smaller than the backpack I usually use, but still big enough to hold a Nikon Z9. If it could do that with a lens attached, even better. This one more or less fits the bill, with some compromises.Yes, it's big and wide enough to hold a Z9. But not if it's attached to an S-Line 70-200. Ok, technically it fits, but it's at the absolute extreme of the bag-- you can close the zipper over the combination, but it completely feels like you're one good jolt away from popping that zipper. And that leads to the second issue-- this bag is pretty minimally padded. There's enough in there that I wouldn't worry about anything getting damaged if it were sitting on the floor of a vehicle travelling over a bumpy road, but I wouldn't want to drop it even three feet onto a floor, and particularly not if it were stuffed with tablets and laptops. As a day/gig bag, where I'm reasonably sure that it's not going to suffer more than the occasional kick under a table, it feels more than sufficient. I might even feel comfortable taking it out on an easy hiking trip. But if I were headed out on a serious trek, I'd probably opt for a better padded bag, or I'd look at reinforcing this one with a LOT of spare pads.In terms of interior space, I was able to fit the Z9 and four lenses (24-70, 70-200, 50, all S-Line and thus larger), along with a speedlight. If I *had* to, I could even get an S-Line 100-400 in there, but at that point one of the lenses is riding on top. If security made me check my real bag for some reason, I feel confident that I could safely move enough stuff to this bag to be able to do my job on the other end.Even with it fully loaded to the gills, I was still able to add a 13" laptop and all the supporting paraphernalia. I can probably get my tablet in there as well, but I think the point is proven-- this thing has a really decent amount of space, at the expense of not being able to just toss it wherever you want. What I really wanted was a bag where I could stash the body/lens combination I expected to use for that shoot, along with a couple backups and the usual support gear. This will get the job done, but it would be nice if it were just half an inch taller and better padded.4.5 stars out of 5.

Big enough for medium format and multiple lenses.
Finally, a bag that comfortably holds my medium format with three lenses without any extra empty space. The bag appears well constructed and the canvas is soft and pliable. My only wish was that it came with a rain cover - not sure how it will do in an unexpected shower. Also would like to see straps underneath to carry a tripod.

Owned numerous bags, this is the best by far
Very well constructed and the design is awesome. Already owned the smaller bag, but for most shoots needed more. Easily holds my Z9 with 24-70 attached, Z7 (body only), and 24-200. Even have enough room for an on camera flash. Very satisfied

Didn't work out for me -- too soft and shapeless
I ordered this bag, intending to love it based on all the reviews. Be aware that it's very soft, like a lightly padded canvas duffel. While the main compartment is rectangular, it'll morph into a shapeless blob once you put any weight into it. For me, the floppiness meant that getting in and out of it was really hard. The compartments I had set up for lenses on the side just disappeared once there was any load in the center.I ended up getting a Think Tank Vision 15 instead, which works far better. It has a semi-rigid shell, meaning that once you arrange the compartments how you want them, they'll keep their shape, rather than flop together. Much better for me.

Awesome bag!!!!
It's an expensive bag, but we'll worth it!!! I shoot with a Sony a7r3, Sony a9 with a battery grip, and sometimes a a6600. My lens are the Sony 90mm macro, 16-35, 70-300. Along with all the usual odds and ends. Everything fits with no problem! Plus a water bottle! The wide shoulder strap is fantastic for distribution of the weight!!! Beautiful weather sealing!! I would highly recommend this bag if you carry a lot of gear, and want quick access to it. I love it!!!!!!!!
