Our staffy girl is 50 lbs, 22” base of neck to tail, 28” chest, 15” neck. I bought a large long and it fits like a glove. She tried it on prior to surgery and was feeling super cute. Surgery was removal of multiple growths on belly near sternum, lower belly, and a couple on neck. This adequately protects but is also breathable. Doc recommended a shirt for 10-14 days post-surgery, so glad I bought this in advance. She gave me a tip to stick a maxi pad inside in needed areas to provide cushioning and absorption of any moisture. Thin, stretchy, quality material—well-made and easy to put on. Covers her torso and lady bits fully without a bunch of itchy seams and can be easily undone and tucked under for potty breaks. This would be absolutely perfect for spay/neuter sx. Stretchy enough for a babe that might need to wear diapers underneath. I just love it! Best part is that Maxine does too—feels good about herself, secure and cozy. Recovery from surgery sucks for everyone, but this helps a ton. Wish these were around years ago for my other dogs! My only very teeny tiny sorta complaint is that the neck doesn’t come up high enough to cover that area more (although I could see that being a strangulation danger for unsupervised/crates pups, so perhaps that’s the thought). An option with a long neck would be nice to cover more of the body up front. Otherwise, just wonderful. Hope this helps other pet parents! Get one!

Our 100 lb pitty Archie had cancer surgery. One of his three incisions is on his neck so any cone (we have inflatables) isn’t feasible. The vet’s office recommended a surgical suit which we had never heard of. Thank goodness they told us about it! The suit was easy to put on, very nice fabric - soft and light, and it has a nice little “pocket” above the tail which is perfect since we don’t want to cover his hind end. Archie is 26” long and 35” around his chest. We bought the 2XL-S and it fits PERFECTLY. Excellent product….we highly recommend it!

This was my second choice for a surgi suit and I should have bought this one first. My first one lasted 24 hours. This one was perfect, breathable material, not saggy after 24 hours and easy to put on. My puppy is very long so I got the Large long. He weighs 54 pounds. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it did get a hole in it after a few days.

We had our white german shepherd come home after surgery and she hated the plastic cone so we decided to try onsies as way to stop her licking her incision. She was 100 pounds so in most brands the size required was listed as 3XL. Was a little worried about this one fitting because it was only a 2XL. To have a change onsie we bought 2 - this one and another 3XL from another brand not knowing what to expect. The 3XL in the other brand was actually tight across her front legs and chest even though the material seemed to be somewhat elastic. When we put this one on we were worried because it was only a 2XL but to our surprise this one actually fit much better. The fabric was smooth and soft for her and it was very elastic with no signs of constriction what so ever. It also washes up nice and though it requires hang drying - it dries very quickly. The cut across the chest was also better - it was quite a bit lower putting less tension around front leg holes. It also has a neat feature of a built in flap on the back to hide and secure the hind leg straps when going out to do her buisness. The onsie fit so good and did not ride up at all so we actually left the hind straps up under this flap to give her even more comfort.Though this one was considerable more expensive than most it was well worth the extra dollars and I wished I'd bought 2 of these vs the other brand. You can tell a lot of thought went into designing this onsie with your dog's comfort in mind. I would highly recommend this onsie for your dog.

My (small) Dane @ 100lbs - got neutered at 3 years old. He is a very lively guy and with the help of some trazadone and this suit, healing so far has been a breeze. We’re 3 days post op and he’s only gotten to his incision one time overnight while I was sleeping (no damage done) and it’s only cause after a middle of the night potty break he immediately laid down and I wasn’t able to secure the straps like I needed to (totally on me). Otherwise, he has left it completely alone. It’s super easy to unfasten for bathroom breaks and super comfy and stretchy. I do wish I would have gone maybe a size down (I got the 2x) as he is very lean and it’s a little baggy in the backside area, but still works great. The cone of shame went on one time and he almost destroyed my house in a span of 3 mins. This thing is a must have for post-neuter surgery. 10 stars honestly.

I bought the large long for my 48 lb mixed something or other. Butt rolls up well for long walks and it seems comfortable. My dog did run through thickets (because she doesn’t listen well to her post surgical instructions) and it tore rather easily but I would expect that with the spandex-type material. She also gets a lot of complements on her barbie theme as I bought the pink.

This product is very stretchy. Once you learn how to get it on and off it’s a breeze. Issue is it leaves very easy access for dogs to access their tummy with just a simple nudge of their nose into the fabric where it over laps. I got it to prepare for my Great Danes spay so she doesn’t have to wear a cone and I will now have to look into other options. Good for ease of going potty but not good for keep nosy pups from getting to incision sights. Also the one we received doesn’t have Velcro on the outside of the straps to over lap them like it show in the photos. Only on one side of each strap and on the lower back above the tail. My girl is 33” to the withers, 120 lbs, 83 Cm from base of neck to start of tail. It will easily slip down off her shoulders if she belly crawls across the floor. Size down and don’t use if your pet has had abdominal surgery.

Bought this for my Coton de Tulear’s post-spaying healing use. The suit allows my dog to be as normal as possible without having to deal with the cone. I keep the back up so that she can do her business. With the suit on, she doesn’t even try to lick her incision. She did when we took it off once to let her relax from the suit for a while. At first we thought the suit is not big enough for her. But it is really stretchy and not as difficult to put on as we initially thought. SL is the perfect size for her (following the size chart guidelines). Out of all the purchases I have made over the past 6 months since we welcomed the puppy home, this is the best purchase I have ever made. What a relief knowing that her incision is well protected! She moves freely in the suit and the pink suit looks cute on her too!

Great but your dog may feel invincible so watch closely and use collar as well to calm your dog down.

The media could not be loaded.  I ordered the medium long for my American Cocker Spaniel and it fit perfectly! My male puppy was just neutered and he could still reach the incision with the cone. This fit so well and when I could watch him I folded it up so that the would could heal.
