Good to have when pilling
These remove pilling. Work well! Sturdy wood. Wood doesn't catch on the sweater.

Made my wool coats look brand new
This wool comb is amazing and made the wool coat I bought it for look brand new. After I had such an amazing success with my coat I went through my closet combing anything that was wool, even some wool skiing gloves. I was amazed to find that it worked perfectly with all of them. I am not exactly sure what the non-wool comb would be good for, I tried using it but I didn’t really feel like it did anything. The astounding success of the wool comb, though, more than accounts for its partner’s lack of functionality. Highly highly recommend for anything knit or wool.

They are very small in size.
They work very well and are good quality. They are just very small and yet effective,

Expected More Than What I Received
I love the one meant to be used on the finer fibers, and have had no problems with it ripping, shredding, or destroying, anything I’ve used it on. It’s definitely brought life back to many of my finer pieces of clothing. Most of these are of high quality yarn, and hand knit by myself, so there’s a lot of investment if out into these.Obviously because it’s not mechanical, it does take some patience, and gentle force, spent on removing some of the more resistant nubs and pills.I am disappointed in the second piece, for it hasn’t worked on anything I’ve applied it to. It seems like I wasted my money on getting the double set, and would have much preferred two of the ones meant for the finer woolens.Especially considering the size of these pieces, the price is a bit extreme, but when you take into consideration the money I’ve wasted on other products claiming to do the same, and the money spent, not even including my time, on the materials to create these garments, it seemed justifiable.I’d like to see a double set with just the finer comb and a bit larger, and sturdier in size. I must say I was disappointed at the size of these. Not that I’m looking for something so large, it becomes more of a burden to use, but a good inch larger wouldn’t be unreasonable. It’s easy to imagine this snapping with any excess force applied to it, or even over a shorter period of time then what I’d like to see it have as its “life expectancy.”I really wanted to give it 4 stars, but considering half of the deal is virtually useless, I think 3 stars is almost too generous. Will update/change review later if anything changes in an unreasonable time period. Also in the 3 things it gave to rate, not really sure what “stretch” and “easy to remove” has to do with the actual tool itself.

Just what I needed.
I have a few Cashmere sweaters that needed to be brushed up and these did the trick. They look good as new.

I used this to great success on my 400$ Peruvian baby alpaca sweaters
This little magic tool is incredible. I love it so much that I had to write a review. Something I never do. I have several Doen brand Peruvian cable knit sweaters that retail almost 400$ each and being that they are baby alpaca they will naturally collect pills. Just swiping this across the sweater had revealed the sweater to be like new. I can't love this thing enough. In about a half hour of de-pilling my sweater was like new. Perfect manual tool to carry everywhere, travel etc. So easy to use and so effective. I am telling everyone about this little magical tool!

Cedar one broke with first use
My mother also had a plastic one probably from the 70-80s that worked very well. The cedar one broke right away & while removing pills on a synthetic sweater it sadly made the fibers look pulled & unattractive.

Tiny, but does the trick
Works very well. The two pack is handy as one can be slipped into a purse and the other can stay at home. It’s lightweight and the cedar handle is attractive and sized appropriately making the tool easy to use.

It worked well, but
This product worked well, but the wood hanle wood catch on certain sweaters. I am going to order the ones made with plastic handles I feel they will be more to my liking.

Small
Purchased for cachemire sweaters. I will use it for fast removal of small areas. Also purchased electric shaver for large area defuzzing. Will store in box on shelf for easy retrieval.

Does the Job
Arrived free like grease lightening without Prime, the Amazon warehouse must be around the corner. Larger hands will find both same sized brushes a bit small to hold, the benefit being that one can't become too aggressive while brushing a cashmere pullover. Cashmere version works on expensive Johnston Scots cashmere as well as house brand Stollery's lesser, softer Nepalese cashmere to remove pills. A bonus in use is the brushing effect on the garment, which refreshes its appearance even when pills need not be removed. Likewise the brush designed for wool and other fabrics. Decent price for the wood twinpack, could have saved a couple of dollars with plastic handles.
