A great solution to check tinted windows at a reasonable price. Requires one 9 volt battery and includes two test samples for quick check of the calibration of the unit. ALl businesses that install tint on windows should have one of these to be sure legal tint is applied.

Very accurate and is the same tool that the police departments are using. Federal laws along with state laws are basically the same, saying that all states are using federal laws which states that your window is allowed to be tinted to a 40% tint, but can be tinted no darker than 20% and is still legal, in layman's terms.
