TOMY Pokemon Remote Controlled Training Figure - Pikachu

Ordered this for my son's 7th birthday, opened it and it's not pichachu!! It's some other figure. Very very ticked at this point as he burst into tears upon opening it. Not the reaction a parent wants to ever see when they are trying to surprise their child (in a good way) not surprise it's completely the wrong thing!

My kids love all things Pikachu, and this was a great addition to their collection! While it doesn't have a lot of different movements and no sounds (watch the video), it's great and exactly as described.

If you're in the market for a TOMY RC Remote Pikachu, I highly suggest buying from One Stop Toy Shop. I had to purchase this item 5 times (all from different sellers) to actually get a Pikachu figure; all other sellers sent me an Emolga or Oshawott. It was so crazy that Amazon has that many BAD sellers in just this one area.Anyway, about the figure...it's cute, somewhat durable, & a lot of fun! It only goes backwards and forwards and the backwards function is used to turn Pikachu. This is not actually a fighting toy-the arms, legs, & tail do not hit, punch, etc. It's still hours of fun if you use your imagination though! The figure goes down on all 4 legs when moving forward and stands back up to "fight." We have Emolga, Oshawott (both purchased before I kept receiving duplicates when I was trying to order Pika), & Pikachu. I purchased these so I could play with my 6-year old daughter-she adores her Pikachu! I would love to get a Piplup but don't know if I want to go through the frustration of being sent the wrong item several times again in order to get one! Overall, this item is worth buying as long is you are careful to really research out your seller before purchasing!

Bought ahead of time for son's 5th birthday, as I would buy a gift a week leading up to his party. He opened it and it didn't work at all. Was so excited then disappointed. Was past date for return and wouldn't allow me the option.

I did not receive the remote control Pikachu. I received the remote control Emolba. It took longer than I expected to get here & now there is no time to return it & get the right one before Christmas. Not very happy!

Got it for my 6 year old pokemon fan (well I'm a Pikachu fan too). He loves playing with it - just wish it had the pika pika sound chip though.

Liked it, but it doesn't really do very much.

Ordered for my son for Christmas and when it got here it was not Pikachu. It was the other pokemon character. Son not happy and would not play with it.

hallo amazon, die anderen beiden artikel sind beide am selben tag jedoch von unterscheidlichen uhrzeiten und Lieferanten eingeliefert worden und das war so nicht in ordnung finde ich, und dann ist diese bestellung unten zu sehen überhaupt nicht gekommen, und das alles passiert beim ersten bestellung, sie haben das geld bereits von meine konto gebucht, jedoch ihre dienste haben sie nicht vollbracht.Ich bin wirklich sehr enttäuscht, das sind Geburtstagsgeschenke, und die sachen die ich auf eine bestellung zusammen bestelt habe kommen nicht mal im selben packet zusammen, und dann auch noch nichtmal mit dem selben lieferanten und dann noch dazu unterschiedliche uhrzeiten, und das dritte geschenk OTTARO kam garnicht erst, es ist heute der 07.10.2014 und der unten zu sehen OTTARO spielzeug ist nichtmal heute aufgetaucht, nichtmal zettel in der briefkasten oder so, garnichtS :((ich bin bei meinem ersten bestellung sehr enttäuscht und das war wohl dann mein letzter bestellung bei amazon:(mfgarslan ramona aus lübeck

highly recommended product & seller! item was delivered when it stated it would. i am over the moon with this i thought it was going to look cheap but i was surprised when it arrived it is of the same quality that you expect to find in the major toy retailers. bought this for my son's 4th birthday he is going to love it. thank you

Looks sturdy but does not work 😕 remote completely unresponsive. Very disappointed as this was a gift
