LeapFrogDidj Recharger

We got this for our son as a reward for working hard. We only purchased two games to go with it, both were for math, and I think it has been a great tool for him so far. As with all games it can become addicting, and he has a hard time putting it away, but I see him gaining more confidence with math. Overall great tool if used properly.

Great charger, comes with battery packs and can plug into the wall so it can be played while charging or pluged into the back of the charger to just charge alone. It has been a big money saver because we were going through 4 AA batteries every other day. Now we charge it and it is good to go for several days. The only issue I have with it is that it costs 3/4 of what the actual Didj cost but that is not Amazon's fault, it is leapster's fault. Shipping was quick as usual. We love amazon....

So far so good! This recharger is very helpful in savings from all the batteries that I used to go thru with my boys Diji.

Bought this for my 6 year old for Christmas, she LOVES it, won't put it down. Awesome product!! Great educational product. She is 6 and learning to add and subtract!! Will be getting more cartridges for this as she is getting bored. The downloading from the computer is easy too.

So far this thing is saving us plenty in battery costs. The charging light doesn't always blink according to what the instructions say it should. But the Didj charges and that's all that really matters. It does say you can play your game while it's charging but that would be like using a cordless phone while on it's charging base, not exactly practical. But who cares, you buy this to eliminate the constant battery replacement, and that's what it does!

6 year old grandson has had his Didj for a year and a half and five year old got his for Christmas 2009. They play them constantly with usual boy roughness. Units are durable and seem to last forever. Bought one unit new at Target and one used at Amazon, both are great. Games are a bit expensive but well worth the money. Kids love them and are challenged by the learning features.
