A very good example of the 'Dubbel' style this beer is less sweet than the Blue while still having some nice fruity overtones. The primary taste here is a malty one but there are also some nice hints of spice. Like other Trappist beers this one should be served only lightly chilled and in a glass to get the full range of flavours.
