Exclamation Point

Love it so much but I don’t know how long it will last since my boy is only 1. Wish it came as a board book!

This book was cute. I wish it was from the child's prospective more. My son has a scar from his OHS that looks very much like the child's in the story. The first thing my son (age 4) mentioned was that the kid's scar was upside down, because for him looking down the scar looks the opposite way.

This book is SO sweet and perfectly explains the scar to a little kid. My son will be so lucky to grow up with this book to understand and be proud of his scar.

This is an excellent book for a young child who has had open heart surgery. My daughter started reading it to my 4 year old grandson a few days after he returned home from the hospital and he easily identified with the little boy in the book. The superhero theme is wonderful and helped my grandson to accept and take pride in showing his older siblings his "exclamation point." The author did a fantastic job!

A rare find, this is written for a child to be able comfortably to explain his/her heart surgery scar to another child. It's clear and easy, delightfully illustrated. And puts a positive spin on the scar.This should help a child to be proud, not ashamed, and especially not at a loss for words of explanation. Highly recommend.

My Son had Open Heart Surgery at 4 weeks old (he is now almost 11 months old) This is such a cute book and i cant wait for him to be able to read it and see the pictures on the pages as he grows up . :) I heard about the book Via facebook in a CHD support group.

My son likes me reading this book to him, he was also born with a heart defect and has had numerous surgeries.. I am always looking for a book to help him understand his heart and his scar. Very cute!

Purchased this for my son with a heart defect and he liked that the main character looked like him, and could relate to the boys surgeries and hospitalizations.

Lovely book for my little heart warrior. As she grows up I'll give it to our friends to explain to their children.
