Keeps your Shredder in tip top condition, whatever the make.
As others have indicated it can be a difficult and messy business trying to lubricate a shredder using a bottle of oil. Even if you stand on your head or turn the shredder upside down it is difficult to gauge if all the vital parts have been reached. With these Oil Lubrication Sachets the job is a synch; just pass them unopened through the shredder as directed. It's just like shredding an ordinary sheet of paper. Once the shredder has stopped press the reverse button for about 10 seconds to complete the job. Generally you should pass a sachet through your shredder at least once a month. There are the usual warnings about consuming the stuff or getting it in your eyes, but if you follow the simple directions to the letter there should be no problems. Keep out of the reach of small children. The Sachets are made by Snopake; a well known and reliable make.

Better than I had expected.
I bought these with my new shredder, in the hope that using these would prolong its life. I wasn't too sure what to expect, but am pleased with them and will be ordering more in time. So easy to take one sheet from the packet, put it through the shredder, and as it suggests on the packet, run it in reverse for a couple of seconds. All done! so easy, no mess, and so far these sheets have made the excess shredded paper easy to remove from the blades to keep it oiled and running smoothly. Good product.

Simple to use
Expensive but easy to use and improves shredder operation. I would recommended you have some shredded material in the bin before using so any surplus oil spills and absorbs into the shredding rather than mess the bottom of the waste bin.

Easy to use
Just pop one in your shredder: start it off for a few seconds till it reaches about 70-80% of the way through, then reverse it a bit - instructions are in the packet, so no hassle there. I had to add some more oil to the actual shredding mechansim, as I'd thrashed the machine for a couple of years before I realised my mistake. So use these every so often before it's too late, and before your machine locks up! More so especially if you've got a lot of shredding to do.

Handy and easy to use
I have never used these before or in the past treated any old shredders to oiling ....so that is probably why they have not lasted as long as hoped for. This time with a new shredder I thought I would see if it made a difference. They are very easy to use as they just run through like the paper and the job is done. The only down side for me is that to cover the width of the shredder it needs 2 at a time.....so I may well try the oil when these have run out but for convenience then they are very good

Beware Swordfish Shredder lubricant Buyers!!!
DO NOT buy this lubricator unless you want to ruin your shredder. I am telling you from my own experience. This was the first and last time I will ever use this. My previous shredder was from Wolworths and lasted for about fifteen years. I bought a Fellows MC-8 and after only three months I used this lubricant and it has broken down beyond repair. The shredding strips have jammed in and the Fellows MC8 will not work even though I have had support from the shredder company. I use this Lubricator exactly as stated in the instructions.

Really worked well
I never used these before, having never believed that they were needed. However, my current shredder started to squeak and was cutting unevenly. One of these fed through put all back to how it should be - highly recommended.

A must have maintenance item
Have used these Swordfish lubricating sheets for shredder blades for a while now, they really do help to keep the machine working to its optimal performance. They might seem a bit expensive but for under a £1/month, they help our overworked shredder to keep shredding perfectly. We use a sheet/month but you might get away with one very couple of months or so, depending on how often you use your shredder.
