I bought this forestry helmet because I finally got tired of getting smacked in the face with branches while pruning my mulberry tree every year. I do not know why I didn't get it sooner! It works great! The helmet keeps the branches from hurting my head and the face shield deflects the branches from hitting me in the face. The mesh face shield is nice because it has excellent breathability and can't fog up. Even though it is plastic and not metal mesh as the pictures would suggest it is still plenty sturdy to do the job. The hearing protectors are effective and made a surprising difference in how tired I felt at the end of the day even though I was using an electric pole saw.Would I buy this if I was a professional arborist or fire fighter? No. But for a typical homeowner this helmet is good quality, works well and is a great value for the money. I would definitely recommend it.

Really impressed with this helmet, the quality is just as good as the brand name helmets but at a much lower price. Assembly was pretty straightforward, although figuring out how the face shield attached took a few minutes. Other than that, every clipped together easily, the materials are top notch, the headband is adjustable and sturdy (and made of soft/flexible plastic that doesn't dig into your head), and I really like that they include both a clear face shield and a mesh one. The ear protectors are well padded and comfortable, and use steel wires instead of plastic brackets (which tend to snap), plus they can be moved out of the way onto the back of the helmet when you're not using them which is GREAT. Overall, hard to beat this helmet for the price.

I wasn’t sure when I purchased this that it would be any good, simply because I thought it was a little inexpensive. But I’m really impressed with the quality, it’s extremely comfortable, and the ear protectors work very well. I use a lot of power tools, and, being female, I have a very small head - So I wasn’t sure this was going to fit, I wear a child sized motorcycle helmet that’s how small my head is, and this helmet fit very well - it’s fantastic. 👍👍👍👍

I was tired of getting hit in the face by debris thrown up by the string trimmer. I saw a much more expensive model sold as a chain saw accessory locally so I searched for an affordable alternative for my needs. It’s perfect. Assembly involves inserting several tabs into slots — follow the directions. It only takes a few minutes. It’s not an Iron-worker quality helmet (I have my father’s) but you don’t need that for a string trimmer or cutting brush.The strap adjustment works very well - - tighten by turning the wheel after you put the helmet on and loosen before taking the helmet off. I love the mesh face shield. So far I haven’t caught anything in the face and I can breathe easily. Before, I used a solid plastic face shield, which blocked debris but was a bit hot to wear.Overall, this helmet performs well and is a great buy at this price.

This is the best value for your money. Here are the pros and cons:The Pros: The plastic used for the helmet is of good quality, feels solid. The ear pads are adjustable and comfortable. The polycarbonate visor is very clear and larger than other competitors so it wraps around nicely to protect your face. Be sure to peel off the protective film on both sides of the plastic visor or it will look blurry. The metal mesh (not my favourite) is wider than other competitors and is of a close screen that will stop stones and some sand from hitting your face. The system is very easy to put together, is adjustable and comfortable. Mine came in Orange colour.The Cons: Some fine sand did get through the the fine metal mesh while doing lawn edging by the side walk so I switched to the plastic which is my first preference. When the plastic visor gets scuffed I will replace it, right now they are out of stock on Amazon.This is a great buy worth more than it’s price. Yes I would recommended it.
