This Dachshund tape dispenser is adorable. I have enjoyed using it!

Gift for my daughter. She (and my grandkids) love it.

I ordered 4 of these and not one of them actually looked like the paint job in the display picture. The eyes looked a dead, dull black, and the noses were not fully painted. The worst part was the mouths, instead of the double-J that makes both sides of the mouth, it’s like someone took a paintbrush and drew just a one-swipe “smile” across the muzzle. I used black fabric paint to edit the nose and eyes, but I’m not going to attempt to fix the muzzles. One of them (see the closeup of the face) has an extra piece of ceramic material inside the right front leg, and it’s a shame because that’s the one with the best face. I’m glad I opened them before I gave them as gifts so I could paint them up a little (see the picture where I typed out that I’d altered them)... the picture of all 4 of them is right out of the box—the only picture of the ones I painted is the blue background there I typed out that I painted them.Overall, they’re not bad enough for me to return them (and I already told everyone at work how excited I was to get them), but I wouldn’t pay full price again without a guarantee the paint job would be a lot better.
